At first glance, the game appears to be an unoriginal dupe of titles we've already seen. Between the Zelda traversal mechanics, Palworld base building, and lack of visual polish, I was pretty convinced I'd be requesting a refund for my first 30 minutes of gameplay.

Unfortunately, the game sucked me in for an entire weekend, and for good reason. The developers have new takes on stale survival game mechanics, seeming to have iterated on the success of their predecessors. Excellent building systems allow you to quickly fabricate large buildings, then refine them down to each voxel. Village companions provide progression through tasteful quest-lines that send you out into the world - you aren't just grinding through a research tree. Combat is simple and intuitive, with rich progression. Exploring feels worth-while. You can go out for several days, and come back with a meaningful haul without having to worry about tedious mechanics like carry-weight.

Overall, excellent bones and a shocking amount of rich content for an early access game. I haven't gotten to the end-game yet, but I think this game stands the most to gain from some artistic direction to give it a polished identity. The blurry graphics, and low-res characters make it an uphill battle to forget you're playing Enshrouded, and not somebody's survival game project.

If you're tired of survival games, this game probably ain't for you. Otherwise... yeah give it a shot! You'll know within 2hrs if you like it or not.

IDGAF, killing bugs is SICK.

Refined and refreshing moment-to-moment gameplay for an MMO. Excellent sound design and UI. Sub-par macro level systems.. questing, economy, etc.

Overall worth your money if you enjoy the satisfying grind of an MMO. Haven't reached end game yet, so I haven't grown salty with the developers like seemingly all of the day one players have. It ain't golden age WoW, but you should give it a shot.

Just let me buy the battle pass

If you're thinking of giving cyberpunk another shot after it's rocky release, and you're debating if this DLC is worth the extra money, stop thinking. Just get it.

Phantom Liberty introduces a massive additional quest line with a refreshing cast of new characters. While re-playing the main campaign again might be compelling, the scale of content that this expansion adds really makes the game and the city feel that much bigger.
