Play the dang demo. If you like Zelda and Metroid, you'll love this game. It's beautifully crafted and full of surprises.

I've been attempting to beat Arkham Asylum for almost a decade. I'd pick it up and put it down. I just have gaming ADHD. I picked it back up and was able to complete it in about two sittings. It's not too short, but just long enough to really make you appreciate the work that went into making Arkham Asylum a fantastic place to explore. The graphics are still fantastic to this day and the combat is very fun and rewarding. Definitely worth picking up!

I picked this game up on release day. I had high hopes and was let down pretty hard, much like everyone else that was super hyped for the game. I played it regardless and ended up liking it. It was basic. It was empty. I just really enjoyed jumping from planet to planet and exploring the worlds but I wasn't satisfied with my $60 purchase. The team has updated the game pretty consistently to create the experienced they originally envisioned. The new updates bring basebuilding, MUCH smoother framerates, and a lot more features. All in all, if you can get this game below $30, I say pick it up. If you enjoyed Subnautica, it's a no brainer. Yeah, people are butthurt but I've enjoyed my time within the game and I think if you're looking for a fun space exploration game that's not too difficult to learn, you'll enjoy this game too.

Game is largely broken and clunky. Development is slow and no meaningful updates have dropped since the game’s inception on Steam over two years ago. I’d trade this game for 35 copies of Bad Rats if I could.

This game is absolutely fantastic. The story is fantastic. The shooting mechanics are fantastic. I genuinely cared about the characters throughout all of it. Amazing storytelling, Bethesda!

First a foremost, this game can be difficult. Rust is an online MMO-esque style game in the sense that your only "quest" is to survive. Build, loot, shoot, and craft your way through a player driven ever changing world. Searching for a food source and a good location to setup a base is a main part of the game. If that doesn't interest you, quit reading now.

If you haven't figured it out yet, Rust is an online first person shooter/MMO. The world is constantly being evolved upon by other players who build (and destroy) bases and forts. The gameplay varies based on the server you're playing on. Want an unruly and lawless wild west experience? There's a server for that. Want organized faction based gameplay? There's a server for that. Your game experience will differ wildly based on which server you choose to call home.

Although the game has to be played online, players can either take the nomad/solo route and live on their own or join/create a faction. Like I've said, how you experience the game will depend on how you want to play.

No more are the bloodthirsty zombies that roamed the plains, hills, and mountains of the Rust map. Instead they're focusing on player driven threats with a side of wolves and bears. See a guy running with full kevlar and a 9mm pistol? Although not the best idea, you have the option to try and take it from him. PVP battles are where this game shines. From 30v30 faction wars down to the 1v1 skirmishes may have while raiding are extremely intense and fun. You'll give a sigh of relief as a bullet or arrow whizz's past your head and get upset when you're killed and have your best weapons stripped from your body.

If the server allows it, airdrops will rain down gear and supplies needed for crafting and staying alive. Crates will also spawn in predetermined locations, usually in towns, giving players a better chance of getting the all so precious loot. This is generally where your skirmishes and battles will happen.

As of right now, there is only one HUGE map in the game. As previously mentioned, this map is filled hills, mountains, plains as well as radiation zones and prefabbed towns and other locations.

Base construction is very easy. It allows the player to create a small dream home, a towering castle, or any structure the player wants. The basic building supplies are wood and metal which can be found by banging a rock against other rocks and trees/wood piles. Keep in mind that the walls of your humble abode are destructible with the correct tools, so a well fortified structure is almost necessary to ensure your survival.

Rust is still in alpha. It has it's quirky issues and bugs that are being worked on by the developer. The team supplies fairly regular game updates and let's the players know exactly what's going on. There is so much potential with Rust and I'm excited to be a part of the Alpha. Regardless of the bugs, none of them are game breaking by any means and are few and far between to boot. Definitely recommended.
