Admittedly played this via "other means" first but quickly became one of my favourite games of all time.
When the DLC came out, I had to buy it and play it officially on Steam.

Downvoting this has multiple reasons:

For new players:
This game has horrible performance on PC for now, resulting in a worse experience for newer players.
Menus are confusing and still not very coop-friendly:
-Different types of lobbies, where private lobbies can't be joined via Steam UI and Squad lobbies aren't explained at all and not available from Steam UI either
-Different types of teams: SOS, Lobby, Link
-Main Quest Assignment still not startable as a team, you have to watch lengthy cutscenes (admittedly good-looking) and weird looking chats between characters.
Better play Monster Hunter World until atleast performance problems are fixed.

For veterans:
Right now, there is not all too much endgame content and you are basically running around with your endgame gear after 30 hours, save for the most optimal decorations and Artian Weapon (unless you are playing HH, because Artian HH songs suck).
And of course, PC performance is horrible.

Otherwise, it's already a fun game if you can look past the problems I've listed.
I especially like the variety of monsters this time around, unlike the 4 skeleton-bases in World (flying, brute, fanged, elder dragon).

God I love this weapon.

Hey, here is a fun game! It's basically air hockey, only is there not only 1 paddle but 3 on each team, and the paddles are characters called "Strikers"! Oh, and what is that? They can bash each other in? Great! Now let's assume a role and hop into ranked games with my new favourite Striker, the cute slime girl/tsundere glitch cat girl/dommy mommy!

I'll play goalie, I need to see how the game works first!
Why is everyone else in MY goal? Don't they need to stay at the front and score goals?
Whatever, then I will play Forward and show them how to play in the scorer role!
Oh crap, a core got past me... but I'm sure my goalie can-... really? Really? REALLY?



The only negative point in the game at the moment, in my opinion, are the Awakening Drafts in Ranked. They are too RNG.
Otherwise, great game.
