Door Skip: Skips door animation for every room (!Must be extracted as an exe, then Run As Administrator. A Mod Manager/trainer version exists but this is the one I use!)

REupscale Project: Dramatically improves textures on backgrounds and environments

Fixed BGM: Fixes Music Tracks that are sped up or pitched up

For RE Fans or repeat playthroughs:

1996 OST: BGM plays the original Resident Evil (1996) tracks

1996 Voice Acting: Cutscene voice lines have been replaced with their original 1996 counterparts

Retcon pack: Modifies colors and character designs to be consistent with past and future RE games

RE Deadly Silence Character Models: Replaces character models with their RE:DS counterparts (!Specific characters can have their models changed, will not affect all models unless all files are swapped!)

Masterpiece.

Aside from some of the dated voice acting (2002) and censored player deaths, this is the definitive Resident Evil, replaces the original entirely. The game doesn't hold your hand like a lot of modern games. It takes a good while to get comfortable with the game, but once you do, it lends itself to speedruns and different ways of thinking in order to solve puzzles and survive.

Brilliant. Buy it and beat it if you're interested.
