Gameplay is a 9/10. Huge improvements over World: cutscenes are skippable, weapons feel really fluid, traversal is far smoother, and the monsters are all incredibly cool. The Focus attack system feels a bit overtuned in favor of the player, the story still drags on at times, and the starting settings are baffling (ESPECIALLY for your bird), but overall this is the most fun I've had with a base game.

Optimization is a 0/10. I realize Capcom has always had bad PC ports on launch, but this is the first time I've worried about crashing while not even doing anything.

Overall: 4.5/10, if you've got a beefy rig or a lot of patience you can pick it up now. Otherwise, I'd wait till either Capcom or troubleshooters figure it out.
