Love the game since I have played it on Xbox. Everyone says another souls like, which is true (I mean everyone is making them and even FromSoftware has just made the same game over the years). The combat is still great and the story is awesome. I really do love this developer with Godfall and now Steelrising being unique story driven games. I think the combat is more fun/faster than other souls like games since most souls games are good, but I feel they are sluggish. I appreciate the developer trying something new and speeding up the combat in this game. I like how they are trying new things and want to keep supporting them. Keep up the good work everyone!

I am still leaving my previous experience in the below if others have issues, but it was my PC. It is the new year and my PC has been slower from the Windows 11 upgrade and I decided to do a clean install. Fully formatted/cleaned my PC and re-installed the drivers and the game is working just fine now with almost consistent 60 FPS with nVidia recommended settings. I also do not have Norton 360 installed anymore along with Denuvo games cleaned up. Not sure which of these issues could have been causing the performance issues, but it is now working.

This was the PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE with the prior Windows 11 Upgrade, Norton 360 installed, and also games using Denuvo installed (usually Denovo only affects the running game, but it does install rootkit type of code which might cause issues too? Not verified and just guessing). The performance is terrible. I barely hit 30 FPS with all settings on medium/low with an AMD 2700X, nVidia 2070, and 32 GBs of DDR3 3200 RAM to boot (maybe it is because I am running Windows 11?). Updated all of my drivers, and still no luck on better performance. I am not sure if it is just such a demanding game, or just not fully optimized for different configurations out there. Just wait for more updates or play on console if you can.
