Way better and way more polished experience than the first game which, to be totally honest, I disliked.

Excellet game! Souls-like done right!

I completed Styx: Shards of Darkness and I have to admit that it was surprisingly addictive experience.
It has some major issues, mainly in the character control department. KB/M controls are clunky and sluggish. The game requires a certain amount of precision which controller just does not provide. As a result, platforming is the most common cause of death in the game and it can be infuriating at times. Luckily game has a save-whenever with quicksaves kind of save system which makes it bearable and not that big of a deal.
The game has some fairly funny references to other games and fictional universes - Assassin's Creed, Dishonored, Lord of the Rings. It also has a few 4th wall breaking moments which brought smile to my face and made me feel warm and fuzzy.
I think it's a flawed but very promising franchise and if You like stealth, it's well worth giving it a shot.

If Titanfall 2 and Watchdogs 2 hadn't used Denuvo, I never would have bought this game and 50% off deal seemed like a no brainer.

Despite all that, hot damn! This game is amazing. Visuals, sounds, setpieces, the overall presentation is Sci-Fi fan's wet dream. Even the "slow" segments let my imagination run wild.

Game is such a borefest. Got sick of it at mission 10. Was really bored at mission 19. Started taking tanks on all missions. Game got a little bit more tolerable. After mission 31 got credits and was relieved it ended, but then chapter 2 started and I Alt + F4 during a cutscene. It's a horrible game with lame story (which is weird, because I enjoyed all previous games and their stories weren't much better), awful characer controls, horse that I want to send to a glue factory, dog that always gets in my way, and Quiet - a silent ♥♥♥♥♥ with her boobs hanging out (breathing through skin my ass. All she shouldn't wear is latex, a cotton t-shirt wouldn't kill her).
Most of my income and crap is held hostage by online mode. I'm really pissed off I got it for free.
