Some advice for anyone willing to hear it...

1: Dress right. There is a time for a tie, and a time for a tee. The impression you make upon others is a good reason, but the impression you make upon yourself is of infinite more importance. You will feel good about it.

2: Never appear unclean or unkempt. This shows a lack of care. Do your hair, shave, brush your teeth, and wear something that smells nice. Grooming one's self shows self-respect.

3: Know the difference between being in want and being in need , and always handle the latter first. Be willing to lend a hand freely where you may, but don't let yourself be taken advantage of.

4: Learn the meaning of humility, respect and honor. Understand that you must have it to gain it and that the adverse is exponentially more toxic. It is also important to know when a well is dry.

5: Always be in control of your mind, body and attitude. A moment of lost control can ruin relationships and lives. There is very little in life that is not subject to the power of choice.

6: Listen twice as much as you speak. What you have to say is not as important as what you have to learn. When you start listening, people will tell you everything.

7: Do not allow negativity into the world. You become what you put out. Avoid swearing, spreading gossip or disrupting the happiness of others. Do no harm, but be prepared to stand up and fight for what is right.

8: Take care of you: Mentally, physically, spiritually - whatever you need. Your path in life will be filled with mountains and valleys. Prepare yourself to handle whatever life should throw at you.

9: There is a time to hold on, and a time to move on. Know the difference. Be willing to sacrifice for the greater good. Understand when to fight, when to flee and when to lay down the sword and welcome death.

10: Life is too short to stress. Be at peace with the universe. Your story is still being written.
