A fantastic class based, combined arms and teamwork game with a pleasant community.

Three factions, the Galactic-'Muricans, Star Slavs and Space Weebs form a surprisingly well balanced triad of mutual disgust of the Space Weebs. There's a lot to do, from standard infantry combat to land/air vehicles you can even play passively and RP as a CnC harvester and live out your fantasies of filling your silo waifu with hot loads of Cortium, she's a fickle lover however, and will require multiple return visits to fill completely to satiation, it's often most efficient to get some pals to run a resource train on if you're in a hurry.

From there you can build bases, each faction approaches this the same way however due to cultural differences each will have a different outcome in mind. The Galactic-'Muricans usually try and build a giant eagle out of walls. Star Slav warlords attempt to stack bricks and bottles in order to squat higher than any other warlords. Space Weebs put up some anime posters and call it a day.

General gameplay is like Battlefield on crack, except there's a third team in purple spandex. Capturing points, destroying generators to get to said points in larger bases, wrecking consoles to disable the enemies ability to resupply and change class or order vehicles all part of the greater strategy of colouring the map in your teams preferred shade of patriotism.

Progression is a thick meaty cake of unlocks based on cert's, which you earn from doing just about anything, including your silo waifu. It's a lot to sink your teeth into and I heartily recommend doing some research on the various classes and the best ways to spend your cert points to get the cert snowball rolling early on.

All in all it's a solid game about two factions trying to ignore the purple spandex elephant in the room and have a civil discussion about what colour the map should be. 10 satisfied silos out of 10.

I'm getting a fatal error on launch, and apparently the devs have fixed it, or not. One of the possible solutions they put forward involves making sure my system clock is correct. When did games go from working as intended to breaking apart like a toothpick house sharing a tumble dryer with a brick if your clock is a second out?

So it's a nope from me, I'll take another look if they fix it but no guarantee I won't forget entirely.

If you're a fan of retro shooters, you owe it to yourself, your family, your household pets and your creepy uncle to play Dusk.

One of the best examples of asymmetrical strategic shooters out there. The blend of RTS and FPS roles is great, but I don't think I can recommend it, I've played on and off since the humble Half Life mod and while as a game on its own I would tell anyone not to hesitate and buy it. However the community is quite small and very angry. You won't find much in the way of positivity nor compassion. In a small community like this one you really can't afford for people to be tearing each other apart. However that's exactly what they do, I would say 1/5 games people are friendly and share a good laugh, whereas 4/5 games you'll have your ears pounded by the sound of disgruntled manlets who take this game way too seriously.

In conclusion, sorry Unknown Worlds guys, your game is solid, but mining through all the salt is not worth it I wish you luck with the comeback but I have a feeling that same salt is going to topple it again and again.

This game is A BOMB. What a shame, this is a good game, what a rotten way to write a review. I figure this game is your type, a real hard ass. I was never properly trained in its operation, you won't be sending this game back. In a body bag.

You've got ten seconds to buy it before I add you to the list of NSF Casualties.

I'm not much into books...

A dreadful experience.

I returned to Paladins recently and found it to be utterly unenjoyable. Coming from TF2 and Dirty Bomb I was looking forward to a change of pace however what I found was nothing but an endless stream of clueless team mates and heroes that seemed like outright upgrades to others.

The main problem I find is with player ability and skill, most of my matches I was teamed up with a team that couldn't stick together, actively avoided healing and were convinced they were a group of lone wolves. This doesn't help the fact that most matches were set up against an exact set of enemy heroes that perfectly synergised and due to my team's scatterbrained approach to teamplay would mince everyone within a second. Making thier heroes feel overpowered and as a result, any urge to compete would fizzle out. I found myself just AFK'ing until the match was over in the hope that the next one would involve a team that isn't clueless.

It saddens me, but I cannot recommend Paladins, in the past I would have but something has changed. Spend your time with something else don't waste it here.

Well what can I say..

As a fan of older Harvest Moon games I awaited this game with baited breath, it did not disapoint. From tilling soil to slaying cave beasts, say goodbye to your free time!

10/10 - Heartily recommend!
