don't look up anything about this game, unless maybe the lore (which you can find the entirety of in the game itself anyways). it plays on the fear of the unknown and amazingly so, run it vanilla with a full group and find ♥♥♥♥ out on your own it's so good.

i only bought it to play the campaign around christmas bc it looked pretty fun, but nah, it's really not. the campaign, while fun, is pretty short (only taking about six hours to complete), and you play as either soap or gaz for 80% of the game, and like four other characters for a split second each. there's very little variety in everything. you're either in mexico or the middle east, one time in suburban texas i believe, one time in downtown chicago, and that's about it. and the lack of transitions between cutscenes is laughable. going from the oil rig ending cutscene to graves' betrayal in the blink of an eye gave me whiplash the first time i played. i was just buddy buddy with this dude and now he's trying to burn us?
the bugs are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ by the way. i had to click "new game" like four times today and they kept sending me to the mission select screen. then it crashed during the cutscene with shepherd and laswell and i just gave up on it. oh yeah, and the multiplayer? don't even bother trying it. starting this late is a death sentence and you're gonna get your ass reamed by homelander every two seconds. you can't level up fast enough to unlock anything while everybody else already has the edge that you can't get anymore.

absolute banger of a game. there is so much potential for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around that it's not even funny, but at the same time it is because of how much stupid ♥♥♥♥ there is that you can unleash upon the world. i do have to admit, however, that $20 is overpriced, maybe $10-$15 would be better, but that might just be me. 9/10 in total, also all of the biomes are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing

Fallout 4 is, as many people would put it, a great shooter, but a ♥♥♥♥ RPG, and I wholeheartedly agree. If you love the Fallout series for the RPG elements, then you won't like this game. If you love the Fallout series just to shoot and murder everything you come across, then you still won't like it. It has great gunplay, but you can't do an evil run, and a lot of NPCs are invincible (Mayor McDonough, Nick Valentine, Virgil, among others), so it kind of ruins it. Get it on sale if you have some spare money on your Steam account, if you really think you'd want it. Also, don't play with mods for your first playthrough if you want achievements. I learned that the hard way.

this game is an rpg with a far cry spin on it and i love it, 10/10

oh and that m16 is sexy as ♥♥♥♥
