I doubt there will ever be another game to scare me quite like this one has. I've always been a big fan of "friendly looking game is actually a nightmare" trope and this works so well with it in spades. It takes so long to actually have any scares that you honestly might forget it's even a horror game after a while. I just wish DDLC+ had more horror stuff in it instead of the more dating sim stuff, but I guess it helps lull the sense of a normal experience.

funny ax go throw

This is a game I feel like I shouldn't have fallen in love with. The game is by no means perfect and in some aspects probably not that good, but you can feel the charm oozing off this game, even on the store page. Ubisoft really went all out on this and you can tell the voice actors are having a ton of fun with their roles. I do have some problems with it though. I wish you controlled yourself in the air like you do in GTA 5. Using CTRL and SHIFT in the air is so much easier. Also, some of the missions felt pretty underwhelming, especially the Zodiac DLC mission. Overall, I have had too much fun with this gem of a game. Even when I feel like I've done everything possible, I always find a different way to do old missions.

Game feels lazy and rushed and definitely not worth the $40 i spent

good game. set a very sturdy foundation for the rest of the series. Hopeful that Rocksteady can keep up the consistency with Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. As long as it's not a L4D type shooter game, i'll be fine. Asylum is an 8/10.
