Game doesn't autosave enough even after making 5687486456mins of progress. Not trying to do a ironman playthrough. Shouldn't have to manually save after every dialog choice.

Nothing feels better than nailing a failed jump over chaos within downtown Los Santos only to be anticlimactically blown up after landing on all wheels by teleporting hackers in a public online session. 9/10 Loading screens

My favorite Dark Souls game in the series.

Parry timings are kind of weird but not entirely unfriendly (Most if not all bosses may be parryable? It's quite enjoyable). The abilities you can use with the specific weaponry and skill tree are what sets this game apart and make it very interesting between separate new games (Salt and Sanctuary skill tree was more complex but the nodes were bland).

New Light experience has made this game extremely new user unfriendly. It doesn't point you in a proper direction of what you should do or how important the many activities provided by the game are. Essentially you can do whatever you'd like and those activities are akin to separate Destiny 2 "game modes." Furthermore, if you lack friends or clan mates to give you a proper tour, a lot of the quests you try to follow are incredibly misleading, dishonest, rot with needless ARG, or worse straight up glitched, broken or buggy. Don't let the bounties consume your life (IT IS EXTRA LOOT). Care about completing your quests first, they provide some of the most unique gear.

And if somehow you don't care about any of my 140hours hot take then I would at least say the best content in the game is Gambit Prime. Reminds me a lot of Dark Souls. Special item currency you find there (Synths) are used in a Gambit PvE mode called Reckoning where you build gear for the Gambit mode for specific Gambit fireteam specific duties (Sentry [Protects bank], Collector [Banks the points], Invader [Hunts the other team], Reaper [Protects the team from the Invader]).

It's the first Monster Hunter game I've ever played. More complex than Dauntless for sure. Few hours in, still learning the ropes. Having a good time with it thus far.

Also this game takes an exponential amount of time to update game files whenever it has a batch to download. For example today the 6.7MB patch could take at least 18minutes on my computer.

Some of the best fun I've had since playing Dark Souls and Salt & Sanctuary. Looking forward to the future as this inches its way out of Early Access.
