I'm not an FPS enthusiast, and although I tend to try and play them all, I never play them for more than 100 hours. The main reason is split between scummy monetization and poor gameplay loops/events.

This game might be the only free-to-play FPS game that doesn't have scummy monetization. Everything offered is not slapped in your face once you boot up the game, and the store has some impressive stuff. With that said, the battle pass has a design choice where each row (i.e. 1-10 / 11-20) consists of different themes and similar items dedicated to their row.

As for the devs of the game, as far as I've seen, they quickly make an impression on you that they are the exact opposites of EA, Ubisoft, Blizzard, etc. They improved the game since its beta, and now, in its current state, Season 3 of the Finals is probably the best version. They really do listen to player feedback. I don't recommend listening to what streamers and YouTubers are saying about the game, as they are complaining about the game's new ranked system and trying to overshadow how impressive and promising the game's overall direction is.

For the casual player experience, The Finals is enjoyable with your friends and solo. However, I have to say the lack of communication from the players hurts the experience of the game a lot, as people tend to not speak at all. The weapons are great with some being more significant and overpowered than others. These things are inevitable in an online shooter game, but the game never feels like it's unfair.

Overall, The Finals is a great game for competitive and casual audiences. It just needs a few more game modes and maps.

For a better gameplay experience, be sure to play this game at Hideo Kojima's house while having a blindfold on and never, NEVER leave your controller plugged in for your little brother to take over.

The first Dunkey approved game. History has been made.

The game is filled with game-breaking bugs. And when I say game-breaking, I truly mean it. There is a main story mission pretty later on in the game (involving some cult if you're interested in searching for yourself), which I couldn't progress. The game thinks you're inside of an area (which you're supposed to), but the animation never plays out, leaving you in the open world that you can't do anything about. If you try to reload a checkpoint, the game sends you back to bum♥♥♥♥ nowhere and you gotta go to that bugged spot to try and fail again.

- Half of the main missions are truly broken and not optimized.
- The side missions are always too far and the game makes you wanna gouge your eyes out when driving.
- There is of course no fast travel, so you have to withstand horrible driving + horrible open-world design choices like putting tons of unbreakable objects (such as street lights, mailboxes, lamposts, telephones)
- The open-world side activities are way too repetitive to be enjoyable
- The aiming is horrible
- Mushy and blurry environments. Turning motion blur off is like trying to deflect a bullet with a fork.

The only positives I could think of are the tracks on the radio, voice acting (which is amazing) and the documentary style story-telling.

Overall, I felt like they wanted to put every single idea and mechanic into this game to make it enjoyable but never realised it would be their downfall to not choose simplicity over complexity. I couldn't even finish the game, so there's no way I could recommend it.

After getting surprised by how amazing they managed to make the first game, 2K surely reminded me how lazy they are with this one. Not only it's barely a "remaster" but it's a massive downgrade from the original game too.

Checkpoints are horrible, models disappear or turn into a zombie in some cutscenes, the dialogue sometimes overlaps and characters repeat the same lines over and over, police are way too forgiving to the point where I had no issues whatsoever which is bad, on hard mode the enemies can shoot you through walls and they just randomly one-shot you, there are parts that I'm sure they have never playtested...

But the worst of all, the optimization is horrendous. I have a 4070 and I couldn't believe my eyes when my FPS went down to 20 just out of nowhere. This happens in some shooting parts where there are lots of enemies and they keep throwing molotovs. None of these issues were in the original game.

All they ever did was just some fancy lighting around the city and window dressing to make it look like they added a few things.

Mafia II is one of the greatest games ever made, Mafia II: Definitive Edition is one of the worst remasters ever made. Do yourself a favour and play the original. Don't bother with this one.

There are games which are called remakes, remasters, reboots, reworks, this edition, that edition AND there's this game. 2K made a completely new game and I'm honestly surprised how they pulled this off. The original game (even though it looked impressive for its era) looks like something you would order from Wish compared to this game.

The game is very faithful to its original with a few additions to help you discover sub-plots or some scenes that felt underwhelming. The voice lines are completely new, the motion capture quality is insane (not uncharted 4 level but it's still damn good), there are new locations to discover, new secrets to find... pretty much every single thing is brand new except the story. I was not a strong fan of the original game, always liked the second game more but with this new game, I feel like now I can embrace it with all its glory.

The optimization is all over the place, it's a bit dicey whether you'll have a problem or not but if you stick around for a couple of hours, the game can easily compensate for the annoying issues. If you have a 144hz monitor with an Nvidia GPU, what you need to do is >
Open the Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings > Either add manually or select the game from the menu > Change preferred refresh rate to highest available. This will allow you to play the game (or rather allow you to) fullscreen 144hz. Otherwise, it sends you back to the desktop unless you Alt+Enter and open windowed mode.

And finally, the car race part is still extremely annoying if you don't change the driving settings to regular from simulation. You might lose a couple of hours getting frustrated for nothing. All in all, though, I strongly recommend not sleeping on this game.

It's simple, fun & addictive. It gets repetitive quickly, but if you're one of those that don't mind wasting time, I do recommend it.

Don't do what I did and play the game for 25 hours, expecting something to happen eventually. The late game doesn't offer anything exciting. It just helps you grind faster

Starfield fails to deliver the immersion Bethesda was strongly confident about. The exploration is the most significant part of Starfield, but when it's combined with back-to-back loading screens, running on empty fields to an area where you'll memorize every single layout after 30-40 hours of playing, that's when the immersion starts to have no effect, and you feel like you're in a sandbox, clearing out the area you encountered 60-70 hours ago.

Unfortunately, Starfield becomes tedious after playing for around 30 hours, and that's not even the worst part. The game doesn't even "start" before you play for about 30 hours. The tedious part is mainly because of the NPC vendors who can't stop telling you their life stories. Compared with the main story conversations in which the characters explain the stuff to you plain and briefly, talking to a random NPC, quest giver, or vendor almost feels like a punishment for exploration and curiosity.

Aside from all of this, the game has way too many technical problems that are begging to be solved by modders. Bethesda yet again left their game's fate to the hands of the modders. I have never seen a game this desperate for mods. I doubt anyone can play the game unmodded with a Nvidia graphics card if they want to achieve a stable 60+ fps experience.

I tried to do the game justice by completing each faction's quests, almost all side quests around the major cities, and so many other random encounters & activities, but after playing the game for 170 hours, none except the faction quests felt like they were worth my time.

That brings me to my final point... the ending. I wasn't expecting Bethesda to deliver a well-written narrative story, though, after seeing so many people talking about how unique the NG+ is, I was expecting the game to end on a high note or at least deliver a sense of accomplishment for all I've done during my playthrough, but it was a huge letdown.

I regret taking the time to bond with my companions, talking with every NPC, flying & running around scanning the planets, and lockpicking every door or chest I encountered. Overall, I regret completing the main story. I can't believe I'm saying this, but IGN was right about the 7/10.

Give it 1 or 2 years, and Starfield will be completely different, thanks to modders. Though, I doubt if they can fix the annoying loading screens.

Don't mind me, I'm just here to sh*t on Blizzard then I'll immediately purge this game from my PC.

I'm ashamed of myself for feeling sorry about not being able to play the game because I didn't have a phone number with a postpaid plan. Oh yeah, remember those times...

No matter if you enjoy the game, if you give a penny to these f*ckers, you're just a sicko.

Do not buy it YET. It's an amazing game but it crashes A LOT. It's still worth the full price but it needs proper updates to fix the crashes.

Edit: I've had maybe more than 100 crashes in the first two days. As of now, thanks to the 2.0 hotfix, I had ZERO crashes. I can safely and proudly recommend this game.

- The number of choices, outcomes, and possibilities are mind-blowing.
- The incredibly designed NPC's and their voice actors are my favourite part of the game.
- The tracks are super fitting to the world and immersive.
- Combat, although feeling overwhelming and tiresome after a long sit-through, is superb.
- The overall world design is quite similar to Elden Ring but way more in-depth.

The main downside (at least for me) is turn-based combat and quest logs that put MMORPG's to shame.

If you're having second thoughts about buying the game because it's turned-based, don't. I'm one of the biggest haters when it comes to turn-based combat games, yet I've been playing this game non-stop. Baldurs Gate 3 effortlessly became the third turn-based combat game I loved dearly after Undertale and Persona 5.

So when someone who hates turn-based combat THIS much tells you that this game is F*CKING AMAZING, you shouldn't hesitate to buy it.

No microtransactions, no garbage DRM that kills the performance, no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Praise Larian.

This game didn't have the quality and enjoyment I had with Horizon 4, nor did it even come close. However, I think it would be unfair to not recommend the game to newcomers. Though, I honestly can't recommend anyone who played the previous Forza games. Here are some examples;

PROS:

- The sound design and the engines sound way better in this game, got me thinking that it was one of the things they highly focused on improving.

- The radio and the songs are arguably the best parts of Horizon 5 with so many bangers. They went with the FIFA formula and put lots of popular songs from previous FIFA's as well. I was listening non-stop.

- Much more in-depth car tuning

- Barn finds are way easier to find and they didn't require any Google searching compared to Horizon 4.

CONS:

- The map is a lot bigger but way emptier. The landscape of 4 had better interactives and it was much more forgiving in terms of fewer objects to crash into. The little locations of Mexico were cool but they weren't able to offer much, compared to how the highly detailed Edinburg design was.

- Again, the seasons are a complete joke when compared to Horizon 4. I've been missing the feeling of the snowy mountains of Horizon 4. I think the execution of the seasons in 5 wasn't good enough to be even compared to what was done in 4.

-The dialogue is way, WAAAYY worse in Horizon 5 with cringy back-and-forth that makes you wanna punch the screen. Thankfully, you can technically mute it down and get rid of it. Still, I think they went too far with the casual, witty, cringy jokes.

- We all know that almost all the racing games have rubber banding but it takes away all the pleasure and excitement from the game when it's noticeable EVERY RACE. At some point, I came up with a strategy to eliminate the rubber banding by constantly looking at the mirror when I'm making a turn. The idea was that the car AI screws up only when they're around you, and by looking at the mirror when I was in the first place, I was able to "witness" the AI crashing and ultimately failing to catch up to me.

- It crashes randomly after 2-3 hours of playing.
