This is an underrated game. I wonder what they can make with a bigger team and budget.
If you're looking for a game to surprise you, definitely check Yakuza 0 out.

Rinse and Repeat Simulator
I love the metal gear solid franchise bu this one is overrated.
MGS V is a great example of how not to make a game.
The gameplay mechanics are the best though.

Firewatch is one of the most different games i've ever played, and I've played some games.
The game feels so real and has an impactful story, not to mention it's gorgeous.
A must experience game for everyone.

i really like story driven games but this one was one of the worst.

cons:
-very unlikable characters
-unbelievable relationships between characters (specially the main characters)
-weird reaction of characters to your choices
-choices don't really matter (i didn't even try in the last episode)
-plot holes
-boring

pros:
+great voice acting
+nice music
+nice graphics and environment

overall:
in my opinion, this game is unbelievable (literally). throughout playing this game i was like "who says that?" or "who does that?" or "why?". it was a big facepalm for me.

pros:
+ good story
+ memorable characters
+ full of content
+ great facial animations
+ beautiful graphics

cons:
- downgrade (actually lying about it until after release)
- not enough voice actors and character faces for people of this huge world
- some the witcher 2 choices & characters are missing.

overall:
an absolutely great game.
