Puzzles and meta puzzles keep you coming back to a board game esque tile laying game. Gets a little random post credits but by no means is a deal breaker. If puzzles scratch an itch, you will have a hard time finding better.

Early Access Review
A choices matter Visual Novel that really does feel like your choices matter. Much of the game revolves around your interaction with the characters and it feels like the choices you made impact how these characters see you. Plus each adventure seems to have a Morton's' fork that really impacts the way the story goes.

The art is amazing, it builds the senses of ennui when exploring the town, and tension when the spookums come. The characters are well written and I am invested in them and where the story goes. I am looking forward to the next installment.

It feels more like an episodic game than an early access, where you have to buy all the episodes up front. I do recommend doing so though. It has been a good time so far and my only complaint is that there isn't more of it.

This has been scratching a tactical rpg itch that the lack of Ogre Battle/Tactics Ogre. This is a project of passion and skill of a developer who has bent RPG maker into making a full, deep, tactical rpg. You can feel the passion on display. Some of the production is amateurish when it comes to key art and voicework, but its not a deal breaker. Honestly, it kinda makes it more endearing.

If you have played a game by Supergiant games, then you probably know what to expect. If you have not, this game has amazing art design, amazing music, and amazing writing. The core gameplay loop is really addictive. Tough but fair. I am 40 hours in, and still wanting to play more.

Default difficulty is a little easy. Bump it up if you are just rolling through the rites. But this game is a fun experiment, combinining a sports game with RPG storytelling. Aestetics are amazing. Art and Soundtrack are in keeping with the standard Supergiant has set.

Its not for everyone, but it is definitly something new and novel. If that appeals to you, then take a look.

This game was something special. If you have any doubts about the hype, play it. It is worth it.
