Blue Prince Release Window Announced

Hello drafters,

As you may have just seen as part of the PC Gamer Show Most Wanted 2024 showcase Blue Prince now has an official release window of Spring 2025! 🌷🌷

We’ll have more specifics around an exact date to share next year and we have a few exciting things happening between now and then that we can’t wait to tell you more about.👀

For example, make sure you check out the Day of the Devs broadcast on 11 December for some more Blue Prince hype.

Hamster in Bunk Room needs feeding

I would like to be able to give food to the hamster. Who knows how long it has been since the staff left? So, it feels only kind to do so. No puzzle or anything necessarily; I would just like to be able to feed the little buddy. Also, jumping. I would like to be able to jump, please. No particular reason. It just seems fun....

Greetings Drafters,

We’re excited to share that the Blue Prince demo will be playable this weekend (25-27 October) at EGX in London. You can find us in the Rezzed Zone at the Raw Fury booth. If you’re going to be at EGX stop by the booth to begin your exploration of Mount Holly Estate.

But that’s not all! The Blue Prince Steam Demo is back!

Please note, there have been no updates to the House Tour since the last steam demo, but If you have not taken the tour yet, now is the perfect chance to get a peek in Mount Holly’s mysterious rooms.

At this time we have no news about a release date for Blue Prince to share. When this changes we will make an announcement and make sure that everyone knows about it!

Hello Drafters,

Gamescom

We are back from our first Gamescom, which was an incredible experience! We were humbled getting nominated for “Best Gameplay” at Gamescom2024, especially after seeing how many other incredible games were on display in the many halls that surrounded our booth.

It was lovely to meet so many of you, chat to you about Blue Prince and see such a massively positive response to the demo. Thank you for stopping by our booth and making our time at the show so memorable.

It was great to see so many of you explore Mount Holly and enjoy your time there.

The Mount Holly House Tour

We decided to re-open the Mount Holly House Tour for those players who would not be attending Gamescom. This updated demo was available from 22nd August until today, so we hope that you had a wonderful time exploring the sprawling estate and getting to share in some of that same excitement as those attending the show.

Once again we would like to thank everyone who provided feedback, shared it with friends, streamed or made video content of your time at Mount Holly. It's been a lot of fun getting a sense of each of your unique experiences on the estate.

A suggestion for note taking

For the sake of immersion, would suggest adding items such as a notebook and a camera that will be available from the beginning of every individual run and will carry over saves- (could be described as a souvenir of past tourists, or simply from parents that Simon brings to the villa for lore's sake)...

Platforming?

The "warning, work in progress" blurb mentioned that some platforming might not work. Is that really part of the game? From the demo I wouldn't know where it fits in, but if it is, that would be sad.

Demo Feedback as per FAQ

Art, story, introduction, all great and had my acute attention from the get go. The gameplay concept is great, exploring a location that changes each day, makes this something of a exploration roguelike, of which I've yet to see. Very fresh. My biggest criticism though, is that my experience with the demo was in and of itself, dissatisfying. I only played two days, mostly because the demo balance is, surely not going to reflect the full release product... and yet, I didn't enjoy it enough to continue anyw...
