I have a persisting feeling of unease. As massive fan of the original 3, this game is incredible.

great port, terrible game

Even the main menu drips with passion, I can't remember the last time I was so emotionally impacted by a videogame before. The originals are some of the best CRPGs ever created - and I can't help but feel that this is going above and beyond the impact those had on me, despite being such fundamental pieces of my gaming history.

Immersive, enjoyable, and mentally engaging.

Still great

One of the few RPGs these days when finishing the main story feels exactly like finishing a great book and it looks like there is still a lot of room left for more in the series, bigger and better than the first in arguably every way with amazing writing, plot and originality.
The art direction is absolutely gorgeous, there were some moments where I just stopped and really just spent the time to absorb all of the details of the surrounding environment and the obvious care the developers have placed in order to make such a beautiful, enthralling and captivating world.
Speaking of the world - it just feels so alive, people that have played the original would have no surprise hearing that all of your actions have consequences and amount to something much bigger than you may realise, this is to an even greater degree in the sequel.
Eothas is just such a wonderful character and personally I really could not paint him to be the bad guy not because of what he does, but because of this thoughts and motives whic i wont elaborate on this though in order to avoid spoilers.
It has left me wanting more, it feels like the first time I saw the ending to the movie Lord of the Rings - Return of the King, I now feel empty but I feel like I am going to be sitting on the conclusion for a while before I decide to fire up the first game again and play through them both in sequence.



Easily a 9/10
