I just...love him so much hahahaha You did an incredible good work with the writing, and the art is so pretty, the UI too and the jokes and easter eggs too. Absolutely want more!

Incredibly bad perfomance, graphics are no better than MH WORLD but makes Screen Tearing all the time. Asks too much to rely on CPU, etc.

I like the game but it sucks how bad it works.
Also I hate Nata, please stop glazing the child for doing absolutely NOTHING in the story. You try to write something decent but it's ♥♥♥♥.

After the dissapointing of Rune Factory 5 was, and how boring and ugly is Stardew Valley (even playing almost 200 hours) I'm thrilled and it's by far the best farming simulator game (at least of pixel art).
All the characters has something interesting to say and have good designs, the curve of difficulty is really good, you never got bored because there is always something to do, and the story and art style is really pretty.
Music could be better, not gonna lie, but it's good and chill.
The dungeon... it would be better if it wasn't a mine copied from Stardew Valley, that's the only bad point. It could have it's own original dungeons since it's a world of fantasy....
Everyone talks about Stardew Valley when that game copied every aspect of other games that already existed... and it didn't make it better, but got extremely viral for some reason.
I strongly recommend better Rune Factory Games or Harvest Moon. Harvestella, and others. But not Stardew Valley. And Fields of Mistria is peak, but I miss a less tiny pixel art...more bigger chibis would have been nice with all the customization they are implementing and that you can't appreciate because of how tiny the art is. I would also have liked my avatar to have a portrait.

With 8 hours in the demo and 8 more in the complete game I can already give a review. Thought I will add more when I finish it.
It's a good game, and I LOVE IT, but it has flaws.

PROS:
Better graphics, animations look so much better, the characters has so much life! Textures look smooth and good but not all. Pretty anime style game as always!

One of the best girls of the series, Karja, a strong woman with not much sexualization . I love DANA SO MUCH, she is my fav, but It's true that I hate her outfit.

Fun combat, but nothing out of extraordinary, it has some new mechanics that are cool, like the duo system, it needed a bit more work but it's not bad.

Exploration tools and new and different mechanics to spice things up are always positive! Including the ship!

Story: I like it's inspired by vikings, I still has to finish it to give a proper review on this part.

Music: GOOD, not the best, but GOOD.

Now...let me explain the flaws better:

CONS:
The combat is not as good as in Ys VIII or Ys IX. That's a shame, and the duo system doesn't add much apart from blocking attacks. Evading mechanics are a step back instead of better. Gameplay is fun, but it's not the best of the series.

In graphics department: characters look awesome, but those mountains.... what the ♥♥♥♥, Falcom. Fix those mountains.

Another flaw is the lack of different enemies or different enviroments. No matter where you go with your ship, all the grass is the same, the threes, lack of flowers or details to the land, not much of different colors from one island to another... The villages seems all the same to me. They don't play much with light and shadows. I hope they continue improving tho! ♥

Adol loses a lot ot centric narrative to put Karja, which is good, I love Karja, but I would love that Karja wasn't giving orders and making overall the most decisions in the game. I would have liked a bit more of characterization of Adol, like he had in IX or even in XIII.

Aside from that, I don't really understand why they didn't continue with party members, because it's like they tried a middle ground between Adol going alone but it's not...not like how it should be, when you have Dogi there and characters like Gunnar or Phyllia, who have very good designs and are just in the back all the time. It's a lost oportunity, and again I do LOVE Karja. But It feels like, when you have so many characters around you all the time in a ship where you go here and there...that they don't go with you as a party, it's still a bit sad. The mana excuse I don't buy, since Adol have the same powers as Karja, someone else could have gotten them. But oh, well. it's done.

The ship: combat is fun and awful at the same time because you can't move it very well, and you usually crash with barriers all the time. They should have let you a bit more of FREE exploration, less barriers... less "we can't go there". If you make a game with a ship of your own and you are getting inspiration from Vikings, pls, give me a viking ship, let me do a bit more... :C

Music department: Good tracks, but you don't have BANGERS. Quite like in Ys IX. But I do like the exploration soundtracks, just... when we will have an OST like Ys VIII or Felghana, or Ys 1 and 2 again? I love this series music and I know they can do better. Also, they could have used some... other instruments to make tracks more in line with the era of the "vikings" not all the music, but some tracks, you know? A bit more of... a touch more viking? Just a tiny bit???

Designs: Not the best but not bad, I like that Karja is not "sexualized" thought that viking outfit with that skin of her thighs showing for no reason is... cringe. Give her normal pants for god's sake. And the purple outfit doesn't fit her character at all and I don't like it, so I just play with her viking outfit which is the one that makes sense for her and it's prettier. Adol looks perfect, but I miss a bit of more armor like the "warrior" he is. He comes from Ys 1 and 2, with a legendary armor and legendary weapons with magic...and he has this..."normal" look again? meh xD It doesn't makes more sense when you play all the games and it doesn't follow very well the lore.

I'm tired of Wuk Lamat. She has more screentime and dialogue than Lyse in SB, Exarch in SHB, and the npcs in all the expansion.
I wanted an adventure and explore, not babysit a princess that never studied her people until she one day decided to make a journey instead of learning before that, but that's not the problem.
The problem is that she takes too much screen time and repeats the same formula over and over all the time. And the WoL and their companions are standing there all the time with just a sentence or two from time to time, like npcs.
I get it, Wuk is the new character, and all, but please what writting is this...
Also, the music is very good but, jazz in the main city of a kingdom of tribes?
I don't know, the pacing, Wuk, and many choices are just badly executed. I haven't enjoy this much. Stormblood did this better with Lyse having her scenes, while us also had, and also the rest of npcs scions were important. Here all are just watching, when we could have...gone into adventure and help Wuk from time to time if we encountered her in problems. But the option of being her npc bodyguard... is not what many of us expected from this expansion.

The game not only is slow, all the minigames are made so you don't need to pay atention. In previous titles, you had to look at the characters to know when they did something suspicious and point it out. In this one, the game itself show you who is doing it...
The court minigame is the worst in all the series, it doesn't add nothing to the cases in itself.
The details that the characters should see in their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ face are there and you can see all the clues but they don't. It's not even good writting at this point. It's just making the characters slow and talking to much for something that is logical and there.
I love Ace Attorney series but NOT THIS ONE. I also espected more of the character that it's supose to be Sherlock Holmes and he is just...the worst of them all. And...Wattson is a loli...

THE 2 ENDINGS in the game: are the normal ending and the optional ending in Ignis DLCs. Those 2 endings are not the true ending, keep this in mind.

THEN AND THE MOST IMPORTANT: READ THE OFFICIAL NOVEL DAWN OF THE NEW FUTURE: THE TRUEST ENDING and all the content cut from the game is here. The canon true ending is here. Everything we wanted is here. It's sad that is a novel, yes, but at least they did it so we can understand the whole plot and the intended story and ending of this game. Please do not forget this exists.

ENJOY the unique experience this game has and the amazing story...it's really told in a bad way, but once you have everything, your mind will explode and will see how good and special it is. Do yourself a favor.

A shame is not the Persona 3 Fes, but it's in spanish (from spain not latam) and that is something I'm very grateful. The female protagonist shouldn't exist.

I wanted a remake with P5 or any P3Dancing graphics, not a port upscale from PSP.

The game is amazing, it's a farming simulation game with touches of RPG. It's the classic Harvest Moon and Rune Factory style. Even Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing. People is treating the price of this game like if it was an indie game and it's not, it's better.
It's full of tiny details everywhere. It's NOT A PORT. It goes amazing on PC, 0 errors, full 60-120 fps. Runs perfect. Quick menus and quick movement for harvesting things in the maps where you explore. Animations for picking up materials aren't necessary when the game tries to make it dynamic and quick but still super relaxing and chill. It's cute as hell. And you can inmers yourself into the story of the characters very well with tiny quests that are adorable and let's you know more about your surroundings.
The story is really misterious and looks really cool, much more better than any story from any other farm gaming I've played. The animations could be better, but if this game has it's roots on the other games from the same guys, I am Setsuna, Lost Sphear and Oninaki, it's their style.
Personalization is poor, but it's like Rune Factory: you have this protagonist and that's it, and this doesn't make the game less better and interesting. I would like to change at least the hairstyle but it's not something that bothers me.
Graphics are so beautiful, the music is AMAZING. It has the same level of quality of any AAA game like Nier of FF.
I don't understand what people expected from this game and why the bad reviews. It's a full game not an indie, that's why it's that price, and I think it's very fair. I've paid more for an indie game that only gives me 5 hours of gameplay like Stray (the cat game). =/ And that's overpriced.
This game deserves every inch of love you can give to it, because it deserves it. It's really beautiful and I'm so happy! Because I've always wanted something more dynamic and into this kind of style for a farming game. I don't know if you can date or not, if you can then it's perfect.
