Why does this game still cost more than it should have on release?

do not play this game if you do not like cut scenes. do one thing, move 3 steps, cut scene....repeat. thats all this game is. i wanted to play a video game not an interactive anime.

Or did Square switch things up?

Hi! So, I crafted 2 feed machines and was then prompted with a cut scene with the fire faerie asking me what I've made, to which my character says a Promise Ring. I do not have a promise ring in my inventory. I have the memo titled "Promise Ring" in my menu and the fire faerie now sits outside by the mailbox with the blue side quest marker at all times. I have not had my first real Quietas yet. I still have Chapter quests 3A, 3B and 3C and have only gone as far as the seaside town. I'm about to end my f...
