dont like the amount of boiler plate code you need to make simple stuff work. I wanna focus on creating the game not creating a function to handle waiting a number of seconds without needing to create a new function to then put my code in everytime I wanna wait, I genuinely could not find a solution around this that I was ok with.

It just looks so bad to create so many local functions. I dont like writing code like that, if you come from roblox like me or just despise stuff like that its just weird af. I recommend godot instead, im having a better experience with it so far.
