This is how a remaster should be. Feels like playing a new game, but the richness of the Oblivion world is still there along with it's magical ambiance. I expected this to be a primarily nostalgic experience but honestly the nostalgia only hits every once in a while, which makes it feel even better. It feels so fresh that sometimes I forget I'm playing a 19 year old game that I've 100% completed multiple times, even as recently as a year or so ago.

The graphics and new UI look great. The new animations are really well done and feel like the perfect mix of more modern style combat and the simple combat of vanilla TES games. The tweaks to leveling are great, and feels like it was always meant to be like this. The updated armor and weapon designs are mostly better and more interesting, though I do feel like most of the clothing feels washed out.

There's a bunch of new bugs brought to the table by Unreal Engine, and most if not all of the old Oblivion bugs and quirks have stuck around too. Which, isn't necessarily a bad thing. A lot of that awkwardness is what gave Oblivion the character it has. That being said, I am looking forward to a port of the Unofficial Oblivion Patch for this one.

Speaking of mod support, its still early days at the time of writing, but things look optimistic. I think it'll have very similar modding capability as the original, and I'm excited to see what modders come up with as time goes on.

I really hope folks who got into TES with Skyrim give this a chance. I think they'll be blown away by the depth and attention to detail this game has, as well as great quest and level design. Skyrim is a great game, and it did a lot of things better than Oblivion, but I do think Oblivion did a lot of things better than Skyrim too. I hope new players will pick up on those things along with the charm that is uniquely Oblivion.

Deceptively cute and extremely difficult. All of the mechanics are really nice and combos are super satisfying. I get that its a roguelike but I do wish there was a mode with a proper deck builder. It is kind of a bummer to start over and its hard to get a good deck through RNG which means the ability to set up those extremely satisfying combos is somewhat restricted.

I rarely call a game beautiful. It requires not only a stunning art direction, but an incredible narrative and wonderful soundtrack that are all woven together as if they were all made of the same fabric, meshing and melding into one another to create a profound experience. Sable is an undeniably beautiful game.

I expected a relaxing game about exploring the desert on a rite of passage but there were so many times the game seemed to talk through Sable, to me; and it became a heart to heart about living life, being true to yourself, and finding the joy and beauty in things even when you don’t want to.

Early Access Review
The gameplay is really cool, but it does get somewhat repetitive in the early parts of the game. The level of customization is very nice though, and it feels like you really are an alchemist making potions. Much more immersive than any other alchemy system I've ever played.

This is the first NFS game I've really liked since most wanted. The day/night mechanic is an interesting choice, but it gives you a bit more control over how you want to play, and the back and forth between the need for cash and reputation makes for a nice gameplay loop. The story is meh, but so is almost every other racing game. You're here for the cars, racing, and police chases anyway, and Heat does all of those things really well.

Game crashes on loading screen. Uses garbage anti cheat spyware. The campaign is a ton of fun if you can get it to launch and get past all the multiplayer micro transactions being shoved down your throat.

This was my first TES game back on the xbox 360. Its still my favorite TES game, and without a doubt one of my favorite games of all time.

The first time I played this I found the sense of wonder and curiosity I've not felt in a game in decades. Its charming, wholesome, incredibly fun, and has a bit of everything.

Sometimes I play this again when I'm sad and it always makes me feel a little better.
