Could be good, was really excited for it, is rather bleh.
Parts degrade to quick, DEI is painted all over, expects you to grind, repetitive to a T. Might as well be a mobile game most of the time.

Paint it pink and it's still ♥♥♥♥.

It's such an insanely good idea, if you go to the actual central core and DIG!
But the actual implementation is just utterly bleh.

I don't know who came up with the idea, worked to make it a game. But I respect that person for that.
I do however hate them for turning it over to a studio to soil and absolutely soil and ruin.

Run away and find something made by someone who cares enough to not sell out. Integrity is a thing.

At this point it's just getting away from anything AAA, or getting money from any big studio.

I want the "ART" the originality, the "screw you!" of old gaming, and I want it forever.
Trying to make gamers tabloid consumers will never work, at least it won't be good enough as long as these old bones rattle on.

Get it on a cheap steam sale and play the first 5-6 hours for a definitely fun time with very few caveats, but just know it gets stale rather quick if you're anything like me.

Bad level design, a bit too on rails, really fun creature design, people who are people first and DEI inserts second, which is a welcome move, but also still just a token black guy insert, somewhat forced weapons/traps, silliness that is, well actually fun at first, but does get way to silly pretty quick, super wonky controls that make moving around a hassle, a bit too much of a collect-a-thon.

All in all, fun, but way to quickly becomes stale for my taste. Needs more actual game and less meh story which I just can't care about.

Forced launcher and social club BS.
I don't want nor care about any potentially online things, and I do not care for Rockstar to have any knowledge of when, how or why I play or enjoy their game once I've bought it, whether I use mayo or butter, or whether the juice is red or orange.

A wise man once said: "Make pirates you do, when launchers you force."
But I don't know, I just felt my ol' wooden leg twitch.

No idea how this is as well-received as it is, then again, lots of people play Candy Crush.

Please buy it. It's awesome and the dev is awesome. Also if enough people buy it maybe we'll finally see the series complete 🤞.

Most enjoyable game I've played for months and months.

Perfectly unsettling/scary. Not too many monsters, plenty of just creepy atmosphere areas. Great map design and excellent "puzzles". As in, not really puzzles, but some stuff might take you two/three tries, or a few minutes to get the necessary "a-ha" to continue. It was pretty much never too obtuse and never too obvious.

So yeah, please fix the super-annoying bugs like elevators killing you when you run onto them and press down/crouch, but don't bother polishing the jank out completely. IMO the jank in this game is mostly charming and fun.

Oh and make more, I want more. And online coop.

Best short-gaming-session-for-parents game ever designed. You can push out a bunch of runs in like 30-40 minutes, and feel like you've saved the galaxy or failed miserably at it in that time. Very much recommended.

24 hours so far, and not bored. I don't know but this is a good game, just hope they don't go much further in the candy crush/mobile game direction and keep adding relevant and fun content.

So far so good.

Just fun

Great space romp for those times when you want quick combat, easy access and don't want to play a 4x spreadsheet manager. Lately when I play something sci-fi it's either this or Starsector.
