It's definitely an Obra Dinn-style puzzle, where you are largely self-guided and need to figure stuff out yourself. If you liked Golden Idol and Obra Dinn, I highly recommend giving this a shot

It's a fun mystery game, just like its predecessor

It's a fun, snarky, Tom Francis game that lives up to that title. The gameplay is challenging yet approachable, and it feeds that "let me try that again, I can do it more efficiently" loop that so many great puzzle games strive for.

A fun puzzle game broken into decent-sized pieces

The game can become a bit overwhelming at times with the sheer amount of stuff going on, but if you're in the frame of mind to tackle a full-blown murder investigation, not many other games even get close.

It's a great mystery puzzle game. It was the first thing that could even slightly scratch the itch that Obra Dinn left behind. The "mysteries" themselves are all self-contained and take anywhere from 15-45 minutes to solve. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a good detective/mystery thing to sink your teeth into for a few hours.

I wasn't able to get the game to start, despite surpassing the minimum specifications. There seemed to be a lot more people with the same problem, but no actual resolution. I have refunded the game for now. If I buy it during a sale later, I'll update this. Until then, the fact that the game is not launching for me means I can't recommend it to others in its current state, since this clearly isn't an isolated incident.

EDIT: So I did end up picking this up later, and it now worked properly and was quite fun. Did it live up to the expectations I had for it? no. Is it still a fun time on sale? yes.

It's a great timeloop mystery game. I have had my eye on it for a while, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

It's a fun point-and-click adventure with a bit of the Stanley Parable sense of annoying the narrator, and a fair bit of comedy.

However, there are a few puzzles that are unintuitive/based on specific regional jargon, that may prove to be a stumbling block, like TV Static being called TV Snow , which is a solution to one of the puzzles in the game.

I give it a solid 8.5/10, with those "unsolvable without hints"-types of puzzles being the reason the game lost points

It's like a more accessible version of Factorio.

The graphics and UI are easy to understand, and it keeps the exponentially increasing complexity of Factorio, but simplifies a few things to make it more welcoming.
