This game absolutely rocks

Do yourself a favour and use a DualShock controller.
The D-Pad has use in flight, and an Xbox controller is not well set up for that.
The controls will probably take some time to get used to, so you may as well use the better controller

I seem to be committed to planning the worst cities imaginable.
Other than the braindead traffic, it's fun.

Truly something special, and heavily recommended.

If you're familiar with how this game plays, you're probably better playing at a higher difficulty.
Scouring the lands for gear and XP resulted in my party being probably far too powerful for the "balanced" difficulty level by the midway point of Act 2. Short of gimping your build for something fun or speeding through the storyline, you're likely to slap the big bosses too easily.

It took 140hrs for a single campaign while doing as many side quests and completing as many arcs as I could find. I got a story I enjoyed, and an ending I liked. Short of Larian expanding the game further, I don't think I'll do another campaign any time soon. It would be awesome to continue my party.

It's certainly cool, but the combat gets boring. The story is really fun

The only problem I have is that I want more and don't want to wait another 10 years for another awesome, polished 40k single player campaign. I want an Imperial Guard game where everything is hopeless, I want an Inquisition game in the vein of Uncharted. Dammit GW, just give me more and don't ♥♥♥♥ it up!

Played through without issue with a 5800X3D & 6800 @ on a 1440p Ultrawide.

**BUGS 290924**
- Online play is broken on Linux but it *was* working for the previous patch so it's likely a bug.
- Dynamic Resolution Scaling is broken for UW resolutions and will use a 16:9 res and stretch it. The traditional scaling methods (or native) work perfectly.

Little bit of jank, but a fun little roguelite.
The campaign is more of a tutorial and most of the meat is after the fact.

Enjoyable!

As chill or as challenging as you want it. Good fun.

It's a great looking & running horror/action narrative.
It's very linear, but I don't mind as it's got a fun script and enjoyable set-pieces that are amazing to look at.

My only complaints really come down to a couple things:
Gamepads just *feel* like an afterthought, and if you're using a PS controller then you'll see that it is.
Once you ADS you're kinda boned unless you ramp the sensitivity a whole bunch.
They still haven't included the PS iconography so you're stuck with using an xbox controller or looking at xbox hud elements. There IS a mod that adds the PS icons, but this caused a hardlock about halfway through the game and it wasn't until removing the mod that the game worked again. KBM is the way to play, simple as.

Final Transmission.
It's not good. It feels thrown together and extremely repetitive (for spoiler reasons).
There are a couple fun new things added, but fighting the Biobots and the new Hammer is just not a fun time.
Sadly, you NEED this episode because the ending kinda sucks otherwise.

Overall 7/10 IMO.

The shooting segments get repetitive, but the game is fun and looks gorgeous
