Both Planetside 1 & 2 are the most unique and rewarding gaming experiences I've had the pleasure of playing.

Unfortunately the player base has dwindled on certain servers, and there have been several ups and downs with ownership and development, but despite that, I would recommend to anyone who is interested in large scale FPS.

Playing with a communicative guild/outfit is recommended, especially for first time players.

A must play for any Warhammer or retro FPS fan. This is very much Doom/Quake but set in the 40k universe. Fantastic art.

It's also great to hear Rahul Kohli as Malum Caedo, and to see Graia after the events of Space Marine 1

Amazing game, both single player and multiplayer. 100% recommended for any Warhammer or FPS/TPS fans.

Gameplay is fantastic, this game really makes you FEEL like s̶p̶i̶d̶e̶r̶m̶a̶n̶ a space marine

My only gripes are the matchmaking for pve (doesn't account for your currently selected class, so you're often put in groups with others of the same class, which isn't permitted), and loading screens for both pve and pvp are a bit overkill. Also, console players don't see PC players chat. Regardless, 10/10

A bit hard to get into at first, especially if you are a solo player, but definitely fun once you understand everything. It's more fun and rewarding if you have a crew to sail with. I highly recommend.
