With nearly 3,750 hours under my belt at the time of writing, I'd assume it's safe to say I've enjoyed the hell out of this game. Originally a mod for Half-Life 2 made by Garry Newman first published in 2006, Garry's Mod has changed and evolved and despite it's extreme age continues to inspire the creativity of countless people, and with it's incredibly flexible gamemode system can become the ultimate host for custom games, ranging from simple DarkRP servers to something as complex as Space Build, or even the relaxing Theater servers.

One of it's biggest aspects for many is it's ease of play, the incredible memories one can make with friends and the sheer moddabilty of it, all which combine to make a messy, fun, and memorable experience.

I first became aware of Garry's Mod existence back in the age of Garry's Mod 9, watching countless old YouTube videos as a child after school and being utterly sucked into just how incredible the same looked, how fun it seemed, the comedy I saw and the many creations I got to witness over the years.
