Epic ending to the trilogy of "World of Assasination"

Very impressive soundtrack compared to other 2 games with well designed missions in spectacular locations.

10/10

This is my new favorite single-player game since RDR2, completely underrated title in my opinion.

Gameplay 9/10 (actual sandbox design is amazing, the only issues are rare glitches/bugs)
Story 10/10
Graphics 10/10 (especially the HDR implementation, it's excellent in this game)
Voice acting 10/10
Soundtrack 10/10

You can tell that the budget was small, but they still could capture the soul of the game, which, to me, is more important than a budget with fancy motion-captured animations and cutscenes.

Underrated masterpiece, as in the best zombie game with a good story.

I really enjoyed this game.

I've been following this developer since Layers of Fear and I absolutely loved the Observer.
Their approach always delivers amazing atmopshere with uneasy moments, that's just unsettling, which is exactly what I like from this kind of games where some people label them as "walking simulator"

And I'm fine with that, games are different, some more than others, it's what makes them great.

Stunning soundtrack and visuals, unusual story, would recommend it to anyone who wants to absorb something new.

I've played a lot of GTA Online back in the day, a good game, but had to leave because of cheaters.

I'm playing this game now, it's grindy, it's addictive, it's enjoyable. A very teamwork-based design that really shines when executed well, a handful of different activities too.

You can chill with your own crew, you can sabotage the other crew, it's quite cool actually.
Best noncompetitive multiplayer game for me, can't say any bad things about it really, it's a unique title.

Aside from the obvious launching issues on modern hardware(which can be fixed by 10 min google search) this is undoubtedly a masterpiece and legendary first-person shooter, the soundtrack is phenomenal and the art style is as western as it can get.

Recommended for sure, there's nothing else more like it on the market.

I struggle to see why this game gets such high praise and love, in my opinion, it's average AT BEST.

The gameplay is boring and super repetitive. You would think that coming from the ID Software - the pioneers behind FPS shooter genre would bring a game into more dynamic experience, but nope, the only one mechanic that remotely resembles the said trait is a double jump, which essentially feels too arcadey and less engaging as a result, compared to the sprint/bunny hop mechanic which in the game of this caliber should be essential, otherwise it becomes boring with lack of speed.

And boring it sure is, the level design is uninspired. While levels are big, vast, and often has not only linear but vertical progression(for secrets and stuff) it often feels like a chore. Doomguy is very slow, so trying to find more secrets and items is a tiresome process. It doesn't have any sprint mechanic(like in OG games), it doesn't have any bunnyhopping(like in a Painkiller game, which essentially is the same single-player arena-based shooter) There's no real sense of speed, so the combat feels lacking as well.

Art direction and the graphic design are very shallow and don't have any type of details, that were present in Doom 3 in its unique setting of horror and dark tight corridors. Having the headline such as the RIP & TEAR tells you everything from a start with a very self-explanatory fashion - this is a passable experience with zero details or depth. As a result, you have a game with pretty, but uninspired visuals, that have that very distinct purpose to the player of being overwhelming and easy to notice. Everything is lit and colorful, enemies have that plastic feel to their bodies, making encounters feel all the same with no lack of character to the enemy. There's no sense of self-presence, you won't feel engaged in the scene of the combat, as the atmosphere is lackluster.

And then there's a problem with gameplay standpoint. A glory kills the mechanic which essentially is a legit press F to kill. It feels repetitive just after the first 20 mins of playing a game which says a lot. And since it's tied into the game design, it's pretty hard to play without it, because it's a tool to refill your ammo and health. It's one of those bad game design choices, that makes this glory kill encounter a mess every time. It messes up the flow of the combat, you see the same animations over and over again with zero transition frames so the scene looks rough all the time. It even locks your fov from customized 130 to the 90 just for this animation sequence. So much for smooth gameplay, I guess. Not to mention the constant problems with the movement. Apparently, doomguy can't move freely over the 5cm cables on a floor, stopping all the movement momentum.

It's a mess of a game in my opinion — boring, uninspired and gameplay gimmick doesn't add up to it. It feels dated, Bulletstorm or Painkiller is a better example of games that done right in this regard.

Not to mention the classics of Serious Sam, which frankly, albeit having almost non-existent budget compared to this title, had a much more engaging soundtrack, than your average WUB-WUB. At least Sam could keep my interest throughout the whole game.

Still trying to complete it through the power of my effort, but can't be bothered to play more than 30 minutes. It's just not an impressive or engaging title. Just as your typical Bethesda really - average work, commonly even less than that, but overhyped to the magnum opus standards.

I can't agree with that, will not agree with that.

Gonna compare this a lot to MK X, and in some moments to MK 2011.

A very good MK game this time, new mechanics are cool and make up for more strategy in fights. In my opinion, it's the best fighting mechanic since the reboot (MK 2011), they're very engaging and more strategic, with good punishes if you know how to do them. On a fighting level, it's absolutely well done, I'm impressed because at first when I saw gameplay reveal I didn't quite like them. But they've nailed it. Krushing Blows and Fatal Blows are well mixed into the fighting, and it's never boring to use them at advantages. Unlike previously X-ray, you can only do a Fatal Blow one time at the whole match. Use it wisely or else.

On the technical side, the game is undoubtedly impressive. The animation quality is much improved since MK X, very nice looking, crispy visuals with good quality textures. Backgrounds of Arenas are a breath of fresh air since MK X. Totally an improvement here. Many areas to fight and graphics to enjoy.

Good soundtrack. I've liked the music. It holds tension at moments and overall composition is epic. Sounding like a movie sometimes. Good thing that I've always liked orchestral score I guess. Many of music from stages are memorizing, which is exactly what a good soundtrack should do. Great job here with sounds as well, punches and kicks are satisfying to hear.

It's definitely an evolution for NRS to create this piece of the chapter since MK 2011. Every technical aspect is improved and we've probably reached the current-gen fighting potential regarding the technology, but I'm no expert here.

The Krypt is back and it's the most interesting aspect in the game for me. It's the biggest fan-service ever given to MK fans. Absolutely nicely recreated Shang Tsung island, with many of its mysteries and places. AMAZING third-person mini-adventure game. Loved every second of grind. Granted I'm willing to grind, and sometimes I grind that hard that it may seem like it's my second job. And frankly, I love it this way, this expands the game lifecycle and I'm not even complaining.

Now...
The story mode sucks, absolutely garbaged. The whole plotline has so many holes it's not even funny. The whole build-up is stupid and meaningless. The Kronika boss is just bad. On a visual level, on a plot level, on a lore level. The design is boring and uninspiring, the white armor feels like it was ripped off from the Injustice series. You won't feel a threat from her just because she's constantly telling about rewinding time with (and still fails to do so, duh) This chapter of MK effectively terminates interesting MK X arcs and just butchers them. You won't see the continuation of Dark Raiden arc, that MK X built up for. You won't even see the newcomers, since MK 2011, like Noob Saibot given much time. He only appears in 2 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scenes, and there was no explanation of how he got back from the dead. Unless, "plot hole Kronika" "restores" him from another timeline, but even the story mode is a massive disappointment, but I guess that's what you get since MK X average new kids arc, that keeps the trend here with un-interesting Kronika and friends ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. MK 2011 still has to date the best story mode. And you know it's a shame when the intro cutscene of the story mode is better than the final scene.
Not happy with a story mode, not one bit.

As far as technical glitches/bugs - devs doing their best, and it's a really nice PC port gotta admit. While there are many desync issues online, it remains a tradition now, especially from NRS I guess. Gotta wait a bit to fix it out a little.

So overall this game is really a special one for me because I've always liked the MK and played since the first game. But the story mode villain and the direction itself it went on is rather disappointing. It could have been much better and engaging, but the whole time rewind crap is not worth it unless you can tie in it without the errors. Especially in the series, that always had strong lore. This never would have happened with John Tobias on board.

But I guess you can't have a perfect game, in a nonperfect world.
So, in the end, I am happy, and I am not so happy at the same time, and this is the balance, the life balance of the universe.
Wasn't ready for this story mode though... Wasn't ready for such disappointment.

10/10 game, talent sells very well.

Combat is interesting and unforgiving, with no easy kills, a solid variety of quests, big and beautiful world map to explore, nice graphics and huge work on models with customization. Fights can take up to 10 minutes last man standing, with amazing animation and parry, only then to make one wrong step and see yourself die.
Good and varied progression, many items, lore and mechanics to find, no fantasy stories, just straight medieval hardcore with a well-fitting soundtrack.

Sure, coming off as an indie game got its issues, bugs are there, but they're not critical, rather irritating, but I'm sure they'll fix it over the time as usual.
Crytek engine is very flexible, the console menu is there, so modding support is imminent and exciting.

Please support this dev, begone SJW and it's propaganda, this game has a soul and value that is very rare to see these days.

Best RPG of all time, on par with Gothic IMO. A Masterpiece.

Once again, as the GTA III in 2001 sets up a bar in industry, GTA V does it again and take no prisoners with it. This game is a pack, of all the badass things that happened in industry in the past 5 years and even more. It has everything to be on top of the food chain: solid technology, smooth gameplay, brilliant story, excellent expirience, outstanding soundtracks and tons of just random little small things that keep this game alive and fresh.

This is a perfect formula that just all time success, a perfect example to some publishers on how you must take care of the product.

The only thing they need to improve is Online element, cheating problem still solid and alive, please make a better system so cheaters would eliminated finally. Once and for all.
