This is in no way better than the first game other than the continuous questlines and quest content. The world isn't as fun to explore, the camera is garbage, AND THERE'S NO CONSISTENCY WITH THE FIRST GAME AT ALL OTHER THAN PEOPLE'S NAMES, WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥ PB. Hope you have some good head canon while you're playing to explain why Jax forgets who everyone is and everyone pronounces EVERYTHING differently. It's nitpicky, but damn if it didn't ruin it for me. I'm now playing this as if I entered the ELEX multiverse where everyone is even more retarded than the first game. And what happened to the character models? The animation is... okay? But their faces are worse than Andromeda launch.

Thank you for at least changing "picklocks" to "lockpicks." Glad you guys could come together for that, but huff paint and sniff glue for the rest of the development. What a waste of a sequel.

I don't recommend this game. I will continue playing it and finish the story because it fills the void for my niche genre of games, but stay away unless you REALLY enjoyed ELEX 1 and want to see where it goes in an alternate timeline.

For everyone getting this on sale, good job. It has a moderate amount of content, but be prepared to be pissed off most of the time.
