Simple, short, and fun to play.
If you have about 15-45 mins to spare this game can be a great time.
Learning attack patterns and when to strike pays off between each death.
Remember! Patience is Key!

Rest in Peace Arkane Austin...
While Redfall still fails to capture the essence of what Arkane has done best in the past I commend the developers that took the time to push out a final update that allows for single player functionality (offline mode), and fixes some game breaking bugs, all while not being endorsed by Microsoft in the process.
I hope all of these devs find work in the industry again and return to making great games that aren't pushed onto them by a conglomerate.
Microsoft ruined a studio that otherwise would have pushed themselves to continue making a better experience for the playerbase.
I do not recommend playing Redfall, but instead recommend playing their greatest hits such as Prey (2017), Dishonored, and Arx Fatalis.
Those games shaped Arkane into what they should be remembered for...

Not many free to play games on steam show off as much flair and style when it comes to simpler times.
If you were born in the 90's like myself and grew up playing 3D platformers like Banjo Kazooie or even Mario 64, this game is worth trying out.
Definitely not for everyone, but in an ever growing industry its refreshing to play something both relaxing and nostalgic.

For the Developers,
I do agree with a majority of concerns regarding the tutorial area, it should feel like a playground rather than a small mountain. If you bring familiarity into the tutorial regarding the movement tech/object propulsion then I think people will find it a bit easier to progress.
I enjoyed my time with the game, the atmosphere, music, and characters.
I can't wait to see the final project.
Thank you for making this free and accessible for everyone.

Dead Seater was a free ticket for something I can only explain as terrifyingly entertaining.
I love a game that builds dread and fear with each entry of a room.
While this game isn't breaking records for next gen graphics it can show what you can accomplish with a bit of ingenuity and tactfulness.
Each of the horror elements play to what we were all scared of when some of us were children, things like the dark, loud unexplainable creaks, and of course, the dreaded basement.
Like all of Zeekerss games this one doesn't disappoint, and best of all it is free!
I recommend this to anyone who hasn't had a good scare in a while!

I killed so many robots for a pair of shoes...and I'd do it again for the Peace Corp Lady!

Unfortunately for a very cool looking Van Helsing type western shooter, this is way overpriced for what you get.
It feels like the team played God of War (2018) and said we can do that, but forgot that it needs characters and stakes that matter.
There isn't any real gravity behind being a badass in the west it seems, and the story is very predictable and cliche.
The combat can be fun and a bit challenging, but it also suffers from framerate stutters and janky controls. Not to mention every single level feels extremely repetitive.
I know I have 4 hours on this game, but I played enough to warn anyone who seems interested.

If you are craving something more adventurous and want to spend your $50 bucks in a better way, just buy God of War instead...

Sker Ritual definitely has a side of jank to it, but also has a solid COD Zombies type of feel that tons of other games miss the mark in.
Which is why I am recommending it to those that enjoy the old school wave based zombie's mode with a few different and similar mechanics to its predecessors.
It needs more polish but for $20 bucks its not a bad deal at all.
I just hope they have a lot of passion to make it work.

This is my 3rd and hopefully final review of this game.
From a positive review on launch day, to a negative review when SONY blindsided us by preventing numerous boots from hitting the ground.

I am leaving this as my epitaph on this games page.

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE LENGTHS THAT A HELLDIVER CAN GO.
I'll see you all again on the battlefield!

Played it with my wife, and had a good time shouting across the room at each other.
10/10 would yell again.
