I still have no idea how I stumbled upon this game but it is refreshing. For me this is a game made with love. I hate this game at moments because the enemy kills off my ships but its one of the best purchases I have made on steam. Every single mechanic in this game just works. The combat, the strategy map, the ship builder, and the landing mini game it all is engaging. Landing a ship that just narrowly survived is one of the most challenging things I did not expect about this game.

For me this highlights what the EA team is hurting for and they had these developers. The developers who have a love for making games with fantastic game play. For a Free to Play game I highly rate this game and find it to be amazingly chaotic in the best ways. This game comes with industry standard way of how it is incentivised as a free to play game but comparing it among the other free to play games or even games you gotta pay $20 for. I understand the model and I am excited to see what this development team has instore for the future.

Best game at an unbeatable price. This is if terraria, rimworld, and stardew valley had a baby.

Edit: The Recent Hot fix has made playing Usonia and playing against Usonia enjoyable. This type of DLC is exciting for the game and I hope for more DLC like it! The developers brought in a completely different style of mechs and I love that. It could have easily been more ground units.


Old comment before hot fix:
At the current moment usonia can only be used in a support fashion. The air units are slow, easy to kill, and deal low damage. The only benefit I see in the air units are they can traverse over land easily. The advanced ground mechs on the other hand are amazing they offer a balanced setup IMO. Slow movement but pack a big punch.

I am hoping they take a look at the current mechs and rework the stats. At the current moment I do not recommend. It has promise but I do not believe that is enough to justify the purchase yet.

Its a great coop platform type game if you are into them. The people who have created the game also have a great sense of humor when creating this.

This has been a good game for years and its story is one to look back to and remeber. It has plenty of replayability especially if you are into mods

On my first day playing this game I put more than six hours into the game and I am still only on my first star system, This game has proven in my eyes to live up to the hype and I will be playing much more of this. To me this was worth the price because of how much could be done on your own and the vast size of the game, I will admit that there are aspects of the game that can get boring but It is rare since I have played. I will do the main objective to reach the core but I dont think ill just say im done, I will be excited for when they will allow you to buy frieghters and build bases because that will just add more hours to the game and I think this will be my game of the year as of right now.
