After more than 2000 hours of playing Counter Strike : Global Offensive, I'm going to write a review about the first person shooter. This review is aimed at newbies who are thinking about starting Counter Strike or are new to it.

Counter Strike is a unique shooter, which is my point: "There is no comparable or similar First Person Shooter!" The game was released on August 21, 2012 and players are still finding new ways to enrich the game. By that I mean special tactics to take a spot, outplay the enemy team, or completely individual new styles of play.

• You should get Prime and not just the free game.
  
  Every player has to play up to level 2 in casual mode to be eligible for competitive matchmaking, before that you have no possibility to play this mode. You can buy the Prime Status as DLC in the store for 13,25€. I recommend every newcomer to take this 13€ in hand and buy this status. You can get this status for free if you play your account up to level 21 in Casual, but this will take some time. If Competitive is not so important to you, you can also play up your account and use CS:GO for free.

  There are several reasons why you should do this for Counter Strike. The first and most important reason is your skins. The value of some skins exceeds the value of your wallet. With your phone number and the Steam Guard app you secure your account to the maximum! Your app produces a new security code within a few seconds that you need to log in to your Steam account. No one can bypass this security code unless they have access to your smartphone.
  
  The second reason is the Trust Factor, this factor decides with whom you will meet in Competitive. The higher your Trust Factor is, the more legitimate opponents you will get. Your mobile number linked to your profile increases this Trust Factor enormously! The Trust Factor also increases through your behavior within the Steam and Counter Strike community. If you are active on Steam, take care of your profile, collect badges, write reviews or receive positive feedback in Counter Strike etc. this increases your Trust Factor even more.

Yes it is definitely fun to play but what I want to give you is Counter Strike is not a single player shooter. Watch ESL matches, watch training videos, download training maps from the workshop, find a team.

No matter what Elo you play Counter Strike benefits from having a good team with you. With a team you can increase your learning curve, your playstyle, your gamesens, your knowledge and your aim within your team will improve a lot. Especially when you play against better opponents, you usually take a lot from these games and improve yourself in all the points already mentioned.

No game in this world is perfect, there are also disadvantages to Counter Strike. I will list them here.

• There are a lot of cheaters
  
• There are a lot of Smurfs (High ranked players who play on low ranks)
  
• There is a toxic community
  
• There are people who just don't talk ingame
  
• There are bad servers (just play FaceIt o.ö for better ones)
  
• There are people who just want to ♥♥♥♥ you up.

There are probably so many drawbacks that I can't even list them all, but the experience in Counter Strike is unique and the game makes many players play it for thousands of hours. I alone have over 2000 hours of play and there are many who have more than 5 or even 10 thousand on their account.We are not happy with every update, we are not happy with every change. But we love Counter Strike and whoever gets into it even a little bit will start it the same way and learn to love it ♥

Counter Strike provides 64 tick servers for the competitive mode. However, providers such as FaceIT or ESEA provide 128 tick servers.

So what does this tick mean and why is that bad?

If the tick rate is very low or there are connection problems, player 1 may see that he is doing damage, but player 2 will not notice and will not be hit. The information of player 1 was outdated, so the server could not calculate it and take it into account for the other players.

64 ticks means that the information is exchanged 64 times per second. 128 ticks correspondingly double the information flow and pass on much more accurate movement and hit information even within this minimal time window.

If you follow the above mentioned points, you will bypass the cheaters for the most part, the rest will remain the same. But you will learn many different foreign languages like Russian, Turkish, English or even Polish. If you are not too upset and not convinced of your silver ego that you are the best player in the world, I can only recommend CS:GO.
