Early Access Review
Critter Cove is such a delightful little game! It's just one of those nice quaint games that you can relax while playing with the gameplay focusing on exploration, building, and interacting with the lively environment around you it also has a really nice character customization as I was able to make my bird'sona fairly easy.

Would definitely suggest if you're a furry, but if you're not who knows, maybe you'd enjoy it too!

Quantum Break stands out as my favorite Remedy game, and for good reason. The mix of time-manipulation mechanics, gripping storytelling, and live-action episodes creates a truly unique experience. The gameplay flows smoothly between intense action and strategic use of powers, while the characters, especially Jack Joyce and Paul Serene, are well-developed and engaging. The game’s narrative choices add replay value, and the visuals are stunning for their time!

I think Heavy Rain has it's own merits; internal dialogue is unique and for a one time play it was alright, though I wouldn't say I'd suggest purchasing it and playing it. I think if you're really curious about the story you might be better off watching someone do a play through of it.

While I can see why people love the game I don't think it's for me, while I really do enjoy these forms of games (Detroit Become Human, The Quarry, Dark Pictures) It was a bit hard to stomach some scenes. The dialogue and writing definitely could have used some work and a lot of plot points were removed from the game so you have these weird scenes that lead to absolutely nothing just left in. I would mention controls being wonky, but I'll give it a bit of a pass since I didn't really play with a controller, but movement did feel sluggish.

Bug Fables is a wonderful experience!
I genuinely regret not playing it sooner. Everything about this game just feels so right: gameplay, story, characters, and soundtrack all come together beautifully. Bug Fables truly deserves all the praise it gets, as it’s a masterpiece in its own right.

I haven’t played the original Dead Space since 2010, so jumping into this remake felt like revisiting a classic with fresh eyes. The atmosphere is as terrifying as I remembered, but the visual upgrades make it even more immersive. The lighting, sound design, and textures are all top-notch, bringing the eerie corridors of the USG Ishimura to life. The new scenes and gameplay changes were well integrated, blending perfectly with the original content while improving the flow and pacing. It strikes a great balance between honoring the original and making the experience feel modern.

However, I did run into some frustrating technical issues. Loading zones would sometimes fail, forcing me to reload the game and lose progress (Which really was annoying as it seemed to happen on my impossible run). Kinesis also felt a bit off during combat, and I encountered a couple of scenes that didn’t load correctly, which softlocked me from progressing.

Despite these issues, the remake is a fantastic return to the horrors of Dead Space.

AI: The Somnium Files was a game that I went into not sure how to feel about it. A friend of mine originally let me borrow it on the Switch, and I can still remember thinking, “I’m not quite sure I will even really like this game.” Well, my opinion changed majorly!

Almost all character interactions were so engaging, and I genuinely loved the music so much that I had to add it to my Spotify playlists. The intricate plot weaves together elements of mystery, science fiction, and psychological thriller, making it a truly immersive experience. Each revelation and plot twist adds depth to the narrative. I truly believe if you enjoy mystery visual novels and pop culture references, you’ll definitely enjoy this VN!

Dying Light is an absolute blast and a classic! The parkour is super fun and makes running from and fighting zombies exciting. The story is engaging and well-done. There are a few bugs here and there, but they didn’t bother me too much. A must have for any zombie survival!

If you're unable to get an original copy of this game for a console system this is still a great way to experience the classic RE4.

A Nightmarish Return to Raccoon City!

The more agile protagonists and the ability to dodge attacks add a new layer of strategy to combat. It's a refreshing departure from the traditional Resident Evil formula while still maintaining the core survival horror essence. The overall atmosphere keeps you on edge. It's a fantastic addition to the series in terms of remakes.

Playing through this right after Resident Evil 2 made the experience even more enjoyable!
