If you are a fan of old school RPG games, and are looking for one with more elements of survival and crafting on top of the usual questing and exploration, than this game is for you. This game is feels extremely nostalgic even though it has recently come out. Although the combat can feel a little bit janky and unrewarding, the sheer world size and potential of the game is immense. The buildings and survival mechanics are extremely fun, the ability to craft and use multiple different types of spells is amazing, and the vast world feels open to exploration. Collectable mounts are also another fun addition to the game. Another great thing is the large amount of support given by the developers. If you have any questions about the game, chances are that the developers themselves have responded to a steam forum post regarding your question at some point. Furthermore, the official discord server is quite active and has lots of useful information. Overall, I think this game has a lot of potential, but the developer team needs to continue trying to improve the game. Other game likes 7 Days to Die with very small dev teams have dedicated playerbases, looking past the flaws of the game, due to the developers openness and how creative many of the features of the game are. I could see KoA becoming something of the same.
