If you werent in the wolf wars, where were you?

They came out and admitted the game was still in beta after "full release" on steam.

They are adding the equivalent of vbucks or cod points to their game.

Good game.

Would be better with steam workshop

Short answer : its not good.

Review : the game was interesting in some parts but overall made it unattractive due to many issues i found with the games ai as well as the total pacing to the game. first and foremost performance. the game would run like a dream but suddenly chug so hard youd think it was crashing. that primarily being due to how they have the game render everything in front of your camera infinitely. (going up winding stairs were the worst)

the map it self was so poorly managed you would literally be wandering around and just fall out of the map. the game encourages you to explore to find resources I.E guns and ammunition hidden around as well as passcodes to doors. overall when you do find some of these things it feels rewarding. the gun customization is pretty cool and lets you save loadouts to quickly reset your guns. ♥♥♥♥ thing is when you die you lose everything you carried without a way to reclaim any of it. if the gun you found at the beginning of the level isnt found later in the level then you would have to travel back to get it if you want to keep using it.

Figuring out where to go isnt initially hard but finding the exit and figuring out how to complete the mission caused us to be pissed off becuase we ran out of time as our last man standing died on the elevator because it went up to slow. oh i forgot to mention if everyone wipes you completely start the mission over from the beginning. the missions can be upwards to an hour long or more.

Lastly but not least is the AI. most the monster AI are good because they dont use guns. so the hordes of these pasty zombie looking things what everyone calls the peanut are tolerable. unfortunately that doesnt hold out for anything using projectiles. everything projectile based they all aim for the head. even through walls. several times we all almost wiped out because the gun AI would stop moving the moment they could aim at us and start shooting. this would cause clogging with their path finding and thus make walls of bullets that we couldnt see. (theres wall penetration)

all in all id recommend staying away from it unless theres some serious improvement.

Had my friends want me to play a thief. little do they know that I am now over encumbered due to taking everything that wasnt nailed down.

The secrets and mysteries in this game are quite a lot and I look forward to finding as many as I can!
