Amazing game with some performance issues in cities/towns. Ignore the reviews that mention microtransactions, they have zero idea what they are talking about.

Great ARPG. Had a bit of a rocky first few days for 1.0 with server issues, but that is pretty standard. Servers are now fixed. For $35 it's hard to go wrong, you'll get at least 100 hours out of the game if you enjoy ARPGs.

I think Starfield is objectively a good game (at least if you consider The Elder Scrolls/Fallout good games), however it might not be the game that some people are expecting. Starfield is not a space exploration game. It is a Bethesda game set in space. The vast majoirty of your time is spent talking to NPCs, fighting enemies, and looting. Just like in The Elder Scrolls and Fallout. The amount of time you spend flying your ship is minuscule. There are definitely activities to do in your ship, but it is not the main focus of the game. This game is not No Man's Sky.

What this means is if you were not a fan of prior Bethesda games, then you will not be a fan of this game. That should be obvious though.

Starfield improves upon prior games in almost every way. Most NPCs are more realistic and interesting. The graphics are way better. Sound design is improved. Combat is better (although melee combat is still a bit clunky). RPG systems are better. There is way more content. Way more stuff to loot. More unique systems to interact with. There are also very few bugs.

If you are looking for a space game, then this game is not for you. If you are looking for innovation to the Bethesda formula then this game is not for you. If you are looking for another Bethesda RPG to sink hundreds of hours into, then you will be right at home in Starfield.

Great game that improves upon Remnant 1, which was also very underrated. Remnant understands what makes a Soulslike good and what makes a looter shooter good and takes the best elements from both of them.

Game is pretty good so far. There seems to currently be an issue with high fps so I strongly recommend keeping it at 90 or 60 fps. Going higher will make movement feel very floaty and you will go much faster than is intended. Other than that the combat is surprisingly good.

The world is great, certain areas are better than others but in general the world is interconnected like Dark Souls 1. The design of the world is the real highlight though, you will encounter some very unique architecture and level design.

There are no levels, your character's power is pretty much purely based on your gear. Which is nice as you can switch between builds whenever you want.

As long as you are not expecting a AAA game this game should live up to your expectations. The game is very ambitious, which can lead to some things feeling half-baked but everything comes together well enough.

Note: Highly recommend using keyboard and mouse for now. You'll get used to it pretty quickly. Also when you get access to placing your own homunculus make sure you use it often. Save points are pretty sparse, you are intended to make use of your ability to place your own temporary save point.

Really good game so far. Brings back tactical fps gameplay from games like SWAT and Splinter Cell. Looking forward to more guns, more missions, and more polish.
