SweatShop is a game that is based off the sweatshops in the eastern hemisphere. I can always appreciate a quasi-political nod about problems in the world, even if there's nothing else added to the topic.

It does have cards and achievements so there's at least SOME reason to play this game since I like to collect both. You can check out my achievement guide here

That's about where my appreciation for SweatShop ends, however. The game tries to pass itself off as a clicker/idle game but fails at both fronts. Sure, you may have to click to collect the shirts but you are limited by the production speed. True clickers are all about clicking as fast as you can and being rewarded with money, gems, etc. Similarly, there is no offline production unlike every other idle game and you can't be idle until very late in the game when there are enough collectors running around and are upgraded. Considering that these two factors are supposed to make up the entire gameplay, the whole game itself is shoddy from the start.

The one thing I will say is that many people on here complain that their collectors are bugged and run offscreen. This didn't happen to me at all so the devs must have fixed it. However, there are still other bugs. Sometimes when I had enough money to buy something, I would click it and an error message popped up. When clicked again it worked perfectly fine. Not a big problem but still annoying. Another minor complaint is that the next upgrade was highlighted even when I didn't have the money for it.

My one biggest beef with this game is that there's really no point. There's no story to make up for the fact that progression is extremely limited. If there was a little cartoon or even comic strip type of deal each time you restarted and one when you got the final achievement I would have been completely fine with it. Or be like other clickers and give unlimited progression with some features. The game right now has a hit it and quit it attitude that is not fun at all. In it's current state, the entire game is just one big grind that leads up to nothing except achievements and even those have a glitch to 100% it instantly.

The music isn't too bad, even if generic. It has a chill atmosphere of a sweatshop in the 50s or something. It's probably the best part of the game to be honest.

Overall: 3/10

TL;DR: Bad game with no point. Slightly buggy but gamebreaking bug was fixed. Has achievements and cards.
