One of the best games I've ever played, and people hated on this game way too quickly.

EDIT: Now that year one is complete, I wanna go a bit more in depth into how I absolutely adore this game.

I love the build variety with skills, weapons and equipment. I find myself always experimenting with combinations to see what works and what doesn't, and even if they don't work, I have a blast learning.

The story is a bit basic, but I like the more realistic approach compared to the direction PD2 went, but the way it ended in Fear and Greed was way too lack luster. I hope that it turned out to be a ruse and concord is still at large.

The game play is top notch and every single gun feels amazing to hold and shoot, I could spend hours killing cops just from how great the guns feel.

Not to mention the cops themselves being fun with variety, going in groups behind Shields, Dozer's becoming actually menacing, Zappers and Naders being nuisances, and of course Cloakers being just as diabolical as they ever were.

The heist variety from old refurbished settings such as banks and warehouses, to new settings such as penthouses, courthouses, and wall street itself are top notch, even the more mid heists such as 99 Boxes, I would still consider to be more fun then some PD2 heists (hot take, I know.)

If someone asks if PAYDAY 3 is worth it, since the first week of launch I would say Yes, and my opinion has not changed for one single day. I think PAYDAY 3 is the ultimate co-op heisting game, and more so then PD2, where I feel is more of a co-op arcade game, most of the time. Please, if you ever wanted to get into the franchise, BUY THIS GAME!
