I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, that this is one of the best Monster Hunter experiences out of all them (there is a but here). Obviously it cannot be compared in content to what Worlds+Iceborne is, and it doesn't have all the cool wirebug combos from Rise, or the styles from MHGU. Not even an insane roster on release. But the overall experience feels so nicely crafted and carefully considered by a team that put a lot of care into making an amazing game.

- An amazingly crafted environment that feels alive and interacts with itself.
- Beautiful graphics and level design.
- A good baseline monster spread with around 20 "new" monsters and others from titles like 4 and 4U.
- A complete revision of all the weapons in the game, new combos, more options, all weapons feel in their 'best has ever been' state. The animations are flashy, smooth and every impact feels satisfying.
- Focus mode and the new wound system are amazing aditions.
- A streamline of the overall systems surounding the main gameplay which allows you to focus much more on the actual huntng instead of periferal stuff that can get tedious.

- Performance (although fortunately hasnt been an issue for me playing at 2k with 165fps) can be a big issue, specially for lower-mid end PCs and optimization is not ideal. Hopefully fixed in future patches.
- The overall difficulty of the game, specially on high rank monsters, feels lower than previous games. Again, hopefully in future patches and events things will ramp up.
- Connectivity issues are also a problem that can substract from the overall experience, although not as common as performance issues (for me a lot more common).

Overall an incredible game, absolutely worth playing wether you are a fan of action rpgs or a veteran monster hunter player. If you are on the fence because of performance issues I would wait a few patches until it is properly optimized for more lower end machines. Hopefully the coming TUs will make this game be in the podium of best MH games.
