San Andreas was amazing because of:

MTA (Multi Theft Auto)
SAMP (San Andreas Multiplayer)

You could create your own server with your own scripts. Roleplay was massive in San Andreas. TakeTwo shut down this possiblity in GTA V.

They have also banned all single player mods.

I do not and will never support another GTA game again. You really screwed yourselves here. The only reason I bought GTAV was because I saw a video of LSPDFR. Not because of gta online. I paid $60 because I saw a modding video which I wanted to play.
