First day launch was rough with disconnects and crashes, seems to have smoothed out significantly since then.

Great with friends. Massive fan of the first one. Definitely lives up to it.

Early Access Review
7 dollars for this gem. I'm not the biggest rogue like fan but them mashing up Hades / Diablo / Vampire Survivors made it come out to be a great little experience

I’m digging this so far: It’s a CRPG with Warhammer 40K flavor. As a fan of the setting I’m pretty happy with how accurate and friendly it is with the lore.

Combat is a bit of a slog? And not as engaging as more recent CRPGs but has some interesting mechanics.
Storyline so far is interesting enough. But the main draw for me is the setting as a whole.
If you’re a fan of 40K or CRPGS it’s worth checking out IMHO

Unfortunately poorly optimized even on a 4090 + 13900k + 64gb ram

Changed to recommended specs and still having low frame rates and stuttering. Cannot recommend in its current state.

I have HUNDREDS of hours between all 3 Total War Warhammer games and have enjoyed them tremendously.
There is a definite breaking point however where predatory practices and price gouging start becoming too much.
I own all the DLC and have bought everything on release. The latest pack is a objectively worse value than anything prior for a significant % increase in price.
Game breaking bugs and issues have been left unfixed, while community managers and press releases blame consumers (♥♥♥♥ SEGA and being anti union also)
Rattling gunners and other ranges units still have tons of issues that have yet to be fixed after MONTHS. AI is worse than TWWH2. I’d recommend avoiding this unless you get it on a steep sale or they decide to fix their anti consumer attitude.

Edit: CA has seemed to turn things around! The recent patches have been great and additional content added to improve balance and variety has been actually good. There are some factions that truly need reworks to be viable though. So far the steps they've made have been in the right direction.

Wait for a couple patches before you buy it. The base is fun with the new rule changes. Cash shop is super predatory buying individual armor pieces (to fully customize one person can run up to 50 dollars FOR JUST ONE OF 11+ of your team)

Good Guy Gangster Simulator. Has all of the great writing, and characters as the previous Yakuza games with a JRPG turn based combat system that ends up being a ton of fun with a variety of outlandish attacks! Highly recommend!

If you're a fan of 4x and turn based combat like XCom this is here for you. Some things are a bit imbalanced or a little buggy with crashes, but it's a ton of fun to play and definitely hooks you on the "one more turn" mentality that the old Civ games had. This is basically everything Civ Beyond Earth could have been and more

Good lord 2019 is the year of Capcom so far. The RE Engine is killing it and extremely versatile. Maxed out running 144hz stable is glorious for this game. Each character is unique and fun in their own right, interesting story (that they unfortunately spoil part of it for you real early in :/ ) but holy heck the combat... So smooth.

I'll admit I am one of the people who liked DmC just because the combat and some interesting mechanics, an unpopular opinion.

Two things I wished for : more varied sound tracks during combat for each character, and lastly a time attack / trial mode featuring Lady or Trish would be

Edit and correction: You can change combat tracks in the Juke box individually for each character!
