GWFL Dont buy this garbage ahahahahahaha

For those who do want to buy it despite the above caveat, install either the community fix patch or the online patch. Either of those will make the game functional

It's a Warriors game. If you don't want a mindless beat-em-up/hack-n-slash, you will likely not enjoy this game. If you are not a One Piece fan, you will likely not enjoy this game.

Combat changes are super but not all characters fit it particularly well. About half the characters are a blast to blaze through while the other half feel either incomplete or like they were ripped straight from the previous game with little care. Compare Luffy, Katakuri, and Ace who got lovingly crafted and versatile movesets to Tashigi and Ivankov who feel like NPCs made playable with little adjustment. Bartolomeo in particular feels like a WIP. Your favorite character's effectiveness will do a lot to determine your enjoyment of this game.

Story attempting to be more in-depth on a few arcs is also super but after Alabasta falls flat with the lack of map variety and glossing over of important events and characters even in the drastically reduced scope of the story. Enies Lobby and Onigashima are particularly awful maps.

Online is terrible! No way to mute or kick bothersome players nor can you create private rooms so playing with friends is a crapshoot. A notable chunk of story missions are also single player only which hinders the point of playing cooperatively.

Tons of costumes were removed from the previous games, even costumes that literally appear in cutscenes don't make the cut. Barely any new costumes were added. Dressrosa is one of the arcs in this game. Luffy is the only Strawhat with his Dressrosa outfit. Even among those who had their Dressrosa outfits in PW3.

Leveling up characters is a drag. You have to upgrade every single individual stat point by hand. There is no way to speed up the process of leveling characters. If you like to swap characters often, expect to be spending minutes before every stage slowly bringing your characters up to level. Every other Warriors game I've played has an easily accessible quick level system.

On the brightside, the PC port is MUCH better this time around. Actual options and controller support! For those having trouble setting up their controllers, go to settings > controller > general controller settings and enable configuration support for your controller of choice.

I enjoyed my time with this game but I do not think this is a quality and worthwhile experience for anyone who wants something beyond watching their favorite One Piece character do their Warriors thing.

Game is bad. PC port is also bad.

The camera turning is god awful; no dedicated quick turn button, no way to adjust the speed of the camera, and it moves so slow. It probably takes 6 seconds to do a whole 360 degree turn. It's soooo bad, I cannot stress this enough.

The core fighting is okay but gets repetitive seeing as there's not much to do other than button mash and spam your supers while going through the story, the minigames aren't fun, and there's barely any cutscenes at all. Majority of the story is contained in text blurbs before each mission and the single line of dialogue characters say before a fight.

Open world is tedious, repetitive, grindy, and monotonous. Exploring Hidden Leaf Village is cool for the first hour. Afterwards, there was no reason to explore it or participate in anything that doesn't have me progress the main story.

Roster is okay? Nothing particularly standout when the later games in the series are around the same price point and have much more to offer.

Going for completion seems hellish considering you have to do everyone one of the already unengaging missions and sidequests twice.

Great fighting game marred by whack PC port.

Cons: God-awful online. Also nearly always dead. Probably better streaming the game to a friend instead of actually playing online. Best option is probably fightcade though.

PC port itself is pretty bad, resolution options are pretty nonfunctional.

Tons of missing content from the PS2 game:
No music options, only way to get the CD quality OST is by modding it in.

No 3D backgrounds.

No palette editing system.

One of the worst ports I've had the displeasure of finagling with.

PC version is literally missing content that the other versions either come with or can purchase.

The graphics are in between the Vita and PS3 versions of the game with an adjustable resolution. A far cry from the PS4 version of the game.

Broken shadows, lighting, pathetic unadjustable draw distance and no way to always use the high quality cutscene models.

Game is prone to crashing randomly in the final mission and even while saving.

Controller support literally doesn't work. It's baffling. Using a switch or playstation controller on the PC version doesn't give you the same control scheme you would get if you were playing on the controller's respective system. You can't bind the triggers which are permanently mapped to camera movement for some reason? and the Right Stick is completely useless. Gotta use Steam's controller config or Joy2key to read your controller buttons as keyboard inputs so you can map all your buttons properly.

Minor issue with the game but going for ranks while playing coop is also infeasible since ranking isn't shared between players and the game doesn't account for that at all. P1 and P2 are ranked completely separately yet the enemy count for missions usually remains the same. If P2 has a higher ranking than P1, the higher rank is not even recorded.

Play it on literally any other system.

It's an OK batman game. Only buy Cold, Cold Heart. The other DLC is either bad or literally unusable. You'll have some fun if you're craving more Batman content and the other games haven't done it for you yet.

Fun-ass game. Probably the best Metal Gear game in terms of moment to moment gameplay. It's super fun just sneaking around bases and harrassing dudes in a stealth sandbox. DLC is garbage though, do not buy unless you have a need to dress up as MGS3 Snake.

Good DLC, worth a couple extra playthroughs of the game and good for multiplayer.

One of the best Sonic games ever made. Probably one of the best platformers ever made.

Gorgeous presentation and art, great music, and the gameplay is at its peak here.

My only gripe is that blue spheres brings me much stress.
