Base game is amazing and I highly recommend it!

The online is full of cheaters. I just played it for about an hour, and in the course of that time, I got teleported to a random location and spawn killed along with a dozen other people. Very miserable experience sadly

If you want to play online, I urge you to create a private lobby for you and your friends

There are some really cool ideas here, but I'm not a big fan of the execution. The art direction lends to everything just meshing together, and isn't really appealing. Arenas are all very small and feel claustrophobic.

I don't think I'll play this again, but I'm certain that it has a target audience which will enjoy it. It's definitely playable, just not for me

Please add mouse targeting for directional targeting type weapons. As it is right now, there is an offset from your facing angle when shooting, which makes certain weapons unusable. If needed, tweak the numbers for the weapons, but please allow us to freely control where we shoot those types of weapons

One of the best additions to the roster. A great shoto-like character. If you like Guilty Gear's Sol Badguy, then Annie is the character for you

I'm sorry, I love this genre of games, but this one in particular did not do it for me. There's a clash of artstyles and mesh between well detailed elements and very poorly detailed elements. Terrain layout is frustrating, with how some things look like path blockers but aren't, and things which look like you can go through, are actually path blockers. I dislike how you don't instantly collect the bonuses from chests but instead scatter around. That can be especially annoying when it goes over terrain, forcing you to needlessly go around to collect it. Control overall is a mixed bag. I'm not a big fan of how you can't control the direction of your attack.

The load times are SO MUCH FASTER!!!! Thank you guys for the update

Game really got me hooked. Did my first run in an hour on normal difficulty. I'm looking forward to trying out multiplayer.

My only complaint is for "kill them all" mode, where you have to kill all enemies on the stage. They all charge you down, instead of you having to do some exploring, thus rendering 90% of the map underused. Really hope they adjust the spawn locations for those. Otherwise, great fun

After 100%-ing the game, all I can say is, money well spent. The game would absolutely benefit from more content, so I hope the devs update the game. Like raising the level cap and creating a Hell difficulty with even tougher enemies, longer objectives, more stages, and multiple bosses at once.

I'm down for DLC too. Like challenge runs with new stages and new enemies. Would be great if the terrain and enemy palette changes up a bit, so it's more diverse.

Lastly, small b00ba and curses are the current top tier ability trees if you're wondering how to build your character.

For me personally, it has been really worth it. Black Dahlia and Annie are my favorite additions to the game.
