It's fun enough but I'm rating negative because I don't think it's a 91% positive game.

The writing from the midpoint onward doesn't live up to the premise of the first quarter of the game. The charisma of the main villain basically carries the game plot on his back, but everyone gets pretty stupid around the midpoint and the plans make increasingly less sense. The game was mechanically fun enough, the challenge level felt good the whole way through on hard, and didn't need as much team reassembly as an SMT game tends to nor is it as rng swingy. If you've played a more recent Persona game you'll have a decent idea of what to expect gameplaywise from seeing a trailer.

Worth the asking price? If you like this kind of Atlus Persona/SMTish game then yeah. If you're unsure and not in love with the premise then maybe wait for a sale on this or Persona 5 Royal first.

I finished edf6 on hard. It is the most edf that has been in an edf game i have played (4-6 and wb). Just ludicrous amounts of enemy types, most of the edf 5 stuff returns, and there's 20ish new ones that are all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in their own special ways you have to deal with or watch out for. The devs managed to make more weapons and utility items usable/viable (for wing diver at least), especially due to the backpack/dedicated subslot changes. The plot ending was bonkers, even if the plot slow rolls the first 50 missions to focus on introducing a new/returning enemy in nearly every single one of those. The middle part plot was pretty fun.

There's unfortunately no single voice line or skit as inspired as "they're just like us", but that's one of my only 2 real disappointments and is an unreasonably high bar to expect because it was so good. The super kaiju in this one was unfortunately really annoying, and there's one fight which you seemingly have to armor tank through a few unavoidable hits which unless there's a way to dodge it just makes it a hard faming check, which detracted from it being as interesting.

Fun final fantasy tacticsesque fun that unfortunately has a gacha bolted to it. The spiral of destiny mode is mostly disconnected from the gacha though, and plays more like a single player game you can play for free.

One of the best base crafting survival games of all time from the perspective of total fun volume despite the giant pile of jank and it being unfinished. If you want a game where you make your base so you can get stuff to make your base bigger so you can get more better bigger stuff in a satisfying loot packrat way, you're on the correct store page.

Fun, arcadey boat combat. Customize your deck like it's a mobile base. Light rpg elements. Pvp is fun.

It's good. Not quite an entirely new experience, but kind of close to that. Really shakes up how your colony is threatened and how to deal with those threats more than any other xpac. Best xpack so far, and I thought Biotech was good.

10/10 would accidentally blow up a giant bug with an explosion that also kills me taking one for the team again.

Also there's some interesting technical aspects like reload segmentation and how it interacts with diving (this game's dodge roll basically). There's a lot of little things to master.

I dunno what to type yet that isn't just spoilers, but I'm having a good time despite the fairly large technical issues on my computer. At ~20-30 real hours of playtime I still feel like I'm only 10-20% done, maybe.

The battle system is a card game. The world is built from tiles you place.

Has many of the weird cultivation/Jianghu tropes you'd expect.

The English translation is mostly functional but very literal about the metaphorical speech. If you've played a Chinese game with a literal English translation you probably have some idea what to expect. If you haven't you should be able to make sense of most of it without help.

Overall, 7.5/10ish, but does have some unique stuff on offer. You'll probably have a decent but not perfect idea if you want to continue within 2 hours.

If you wanted to play original System Shock, but with contemporary FPS play, this is basically that plus a decent coat of paint.

If you haven't played original System Shock, this has mazelike level design which you don't see too much today, which may or may not be to your liking.

Either way, there's enough game here for the money if you're into it. But maybe only just so for $40 when compared to Enhanced Edition if you can deal with the ancient controls.
