Honestly it's a good game, there were some hiccups at the start but it's actually great.

Bought it few years ago, it was cool but not much content and lots of bugs, picked it up again with my bf recently and we are both very surprised, it really evolved a lot! We are recommending it! So much fun with friends, best on servers with less than 40 players because lag. It's really challanging and rewarding at the same time.

I've been in the community for many years, I've shared my honest feedback and even defended it against others but today the big boss Don just came in the discord to insult me as flame baiter for saying my honest concerns.
I've observed this game going downhill, slightly crawling upwards just to fall back into fetal position.
It's sad and frustrating to play this and even more so when you want it to succeed.
Their management is just non existing and nothing but fame bathing in the discord whenever they feel like it.

The broken promises are just stapling up and up, I lost hope in 2022.
Ive carried on checking their progress, they add robot dinos now too? Eh..

I have recommended this game. Why you ask? Because I love dinos.

For the love for dinosaurs I cannot recommend this game anymore because it's barely a game.

They've ignored people screaming for change when their night vision induces seizures and epilepsy, calling it "eye strain" and "motion sickness". Are you serious? The map reverted back to its usual size when people complained about its reduced size after 2 days!

Your community is shrinking after this any many other reasons.
I hope it goes down soon.

Oldschool but not out. It's a game for everyone who likes building games. I really got the feels whe I downloaded it and I'm happy to have it.

Played it over 600 h now and still in, just dropped official and joined a smaller 20 grid server with admins who don't involve themselve, or help out with tiny problems. I like it, play it with my bf and we are now leader of a well working tribe. The game is still buggy, no cool wallpaintings possible yet, those roof-doorways are buggy AF when you walk over them with a tame, whalehunting isn't worth it atm (should give way more blubber), also the funny and cool things like shooting cannons and stuff are mostly done by NPCs - while the repair and food-refilling (the boring stuff) is left to be done by players. NPCs should be NOT possible to be mounted on cannons whatsoever, I know it sounds harsh but AT LEAST give serveradmins the possibility to edit NPC permissions. Would be nice. What else? idk, ship battles should be balanced and tames should be harder to tame without their favourite food.
Love it, won't stop playing it.
EU PvP with PvE times during night lets us sleep tight, I like that.

I really love the game (over 400h ingame) - this map here is one of the best ones - really big, beautiful, looks like real nature, many caves and stunning landscapes. I´m currently waiting for the desert to come - I expect it to be as great as the rest of the map - the people who did this did a great job and it was a great idea to include it as free DLC in the game (thank you devs) There are very few death pits (I only found one) you can basically build EVERYWHERE - it´s beautiful and every few meters you´ll find a spot for a base. It´s still dangerous tho - so be sure WHERE you build your base. (I play with some friends on the "Die Anstalt" Server - currently pve) Have fun and be save!
