Everything just feels slicker, more improved. Weapons got dual functionalities, the spells feel more varied, the way the boons interact is also more complex - yet at the same time it's still that intuitive, learn as you play design. Incredible sequel even in early access!

I didn't actually need this, consider it as me tossing an extra coin in for a good good game.

I'm not a CRPG enjoyer, favoring more third-person, single character RPGs when it comes to immersion and storytelling - but I really love this game. This game deserves praise simply for reining back the loot goblin nonsense RPGs have been feeding us for years and have items be relevant throughout the game because they augment and create builds, rather than just give +5% to gathering bear asses.

112hrs as of writing this, I'm only now at Act 2. Here's another review on top of the 500k, thanks to Larian for doing their own thing for decades to culminate into this.

Alternate timeline Diablo III, it's great

It's really good

Probably the most intuitive 4X out there. You need only a few turns to get rolling, and from then you'll be absorbed into the game for hours. Some of the most inventive sci-fi designs and writing out there, coupled with sublime music means this game is a joy to play.

Just avoid the last DLC.
