This was a pretty good game. It lacked some of the choice and depth of character development of previous titles in the series, but the gunplay was significantly improved. Settlement building is fun if you like sandbox building games, but it does get tedious when you get to building your tenth settlement or so. The companions are much improved over similar NPCs in previous titles, while lock picking and terminal hacking are the same as ever. The story is pretty good, if a bit predictable. If you do get it, I strongly recommend picking up Far Harbor and Nuka World along with it. Those two DLCs in particular add some of the best storytelling in the game, with rich quests and fun new locations to explore. There is a great modding community for this game, too, and you can really tweak your play experience to your preferences with the help of that community.
