About me?

I'm just someone that has no idea what I'm doing with my life and also finds playing games fun. Oh, and I like cute stuff! :vanilla3: :KeA::RenneB::Altina::claireattn::sharonsmile::maple2:

Games are fun!

Games are just fun to play. Sometimes it’s the story that hooked me into it. Other times it’s the gameplay. Or it could be that the game visuals caught my interest, or perhaps the game had such an awesome soundtrack. Granted, I may or may not have played a lot of games when compared to some of my friends and people I know but does that really matter? In my opinion, I don’t think there’s any direct correlation between how many games one had played, and how much they love games; and vice versa. The only reason why I haven’t played so many games is simply because I simply hadn’t the opportunity. I’ve only had a handful of games during my childhood.
One thing I’m pretty proud of however is that I can deal with playing games at low and inconsistent frame rates. For example, I’ve completed both A Hat in Time and Ori and the Blind Forest with both framerates being anywhere between 11 to 21fps; at 480p low. Who in their right minds would even play a game that only has a dozen or two fps? Me. I really do enjoy playing games huh. Despite this, not only did I finish the game, but I really loved playing them both. I don’t think much people would be willing to play a game at low settings with low frame rates. I had to learn to adapt to what I was given, and enjoy what I had on me.
Fortunately, and big thanks to a friend and some luck, I managed to build my first every PC. I'm so happy I can play games at a consistent frame rate! The first games I played on it was the A Hat in Time and the game is much more enjoyable (and easier) with no lag! This opens the opportunity to plays games I’ve wanted to for years!
I also don’t think I’d ever rage-quit or throw my controller because of this; so that’s nice.

Games are really fun!

Playing games with friends is also really fun. I haven’t played much co-op games in my life with my friends mainly due to having different consoles, someone (me) not being able to run a specific game or simply having a different interests in games. Though the handful of times I played with someone was really fun for me. 100% Orange Juice is one example. I hate RNG. Yet playing 100% Orange Juice with friends is really fun with all the shenanigans that’s happening.
Civilization V is another one. I class myself as either bad or average, but I had fun playing with a few others, even though we had to quit the game after almost 10 hours of playing.
I’ve also played Terraria with a few friends that has almost over 1000 hours combined. So I was a little worried on whether they enjoy playing the game with me; someone who had spent very little hours on the game compared to them. Though I completely forgotten about that and I had a lot of fun with it. (Un)surprisingly, you can learn a lot when you play with someone that spent a lot of hours in the game, as opposed to just taking a look at the wiki and watching videos.
I completed an expert playthrough of Terraria with a friend and while I was bad , it was fun! If you're reading this, thanks again for playing with me! I hope you enjoyed it too!
I also enjoyed hunting with friends and even strangers on Monster Hunter World and Rise. Though I stopped because of a situation that happened. I really do hope I get back into it.

While it’s true that playing multiplayer games with friends is super fun, especially couch co-op games; I usually find single-players games more fun to play. I say that because of the follow reasons:
You don’t have to worry about time zones. Unless you’re only playing with friends from the same city or area as you, you’ll need to consider time zones with friends. Someone might need to get up early or you might need to sleep late, or maybe you can only get a few amounts of hours playing a game. Playing a single-player game won’t have this issue since you can play it as soon or as late as you want.
You don’t have to worry about someone’s schedule. A multiplayer game is only a multiplayer game if you’re playing it with other people. You might be up to play a game with one of your friends that’s on the other side of the world. But they may had plans doing something else, or they’re not in the mood for it (or vice versa). You can’t do much about it. You won’t have this issue with playing a single-player game.
There’s also the fact that you can play a single-player game however you want without anyone secretly judging you, or telling you how you should be playing the game. You want to do a stupid move that almost guarantees death? Knock your socks off. You want to explore this area you literally just found? Go ahead. For this point, I might be overthinking this. But it’s something that’s almost always on my mind when I do play a co-op game with someone. Maybe it’s just because I’m not confident in my ability or maybe I’m just too shy. Who knows.

This is not a single-player vs multiplayer situation. Both of them are fun. It’s just that I think single-player are more easier to get into and enjoy since there’s no factor of a second party.
I do want to play co-op with some friends I made on Discord but the fact that I don't VC and I don't have a lot of experience in games makes me quite hesitant. I hope this changes in the future.

I am always up for a discussion about this and I love hearing others thought on the topic, so feel free to send me a message on Steam (or Discord if you know my username).

Life Goals
I've got a couple of goals in life. One of my biggest goals is a secret though. Why you ask? It's because it's too embarrassing to tell anyone! And probably too childish to some. My other goals in life are things like being able to work 3 or 4 days a week, and still be able to live comfortably. I really do want to visit space though and see how the Earth looks like with my own eyes. I would like to visit different countries too! If only I do all this without working or requiring money. :momozzz:

Thanks for reading!

Many thanks for taking some of your time in reading in this! (If you read everything then you’re awesome!) Feel free to send me a friend request or message~
Stay awesome!
