While most of the opinions on how Fallout 4 didn't live up to expectations is valid, I wouldn't say it's too horrible and if you give it a chance and accept it as a more relaxed Borderlands with crafting, then you should have a pretty good time. I haven't gotten the DLC yet but there is so many quests (aside from the radiants) and random encounters, I feel I still haven't seen a good majority of them. That said, there is SO MUCH hidden in this game, I believe many people are just playing the main quest along with a few side quests and NOT EXPLORING that they are missing out on quite a lot.

While fast traveling is well and good if you want to plough through a quest, give the game a chance and actually do what the world expects of you and wander a bit and you will be rewarded for it.

Regarding the paid mods issue, I don't have any issue with paid mods if they're DLC sized and add such a value to the game that they are comparable to buying another title and the 'horse armor' mods really need to come down in price...like 1-5 points would be reasonable. So far, Bethesda's failed miserably, one can only hope they listen to their fanbase before making things worse.
