If I experienced memory loss this is the franchise I'd return to in a heart beat. I adore everything about these games and all it's little details. I've replayed Evil Within 2 specifically several times. I would do it again in a heart beat. It's such a shame we'll never be offered a third game, but I'll always keep these two in my heart. Evil Within 1 had more content but I still adore this sequel just as much. They're great in their own ways and I never bore of wanting to re-experience it. The only thing I wish I could say other than wanting more content for 2, is Stefano should've been the main villain of this game. Till today he remains to be one of the most unique threats in a videogame, sometimes I replay the game just to walk around his environments to appreciate the design involved.

I suggest anyone to dive into both games. Evil Within 2 was easier in my opinion and less action packed than one. However if you're looking for more intensity I'd definitely then recommend to start with Evil Within 1. I was amazed at just how much content and fun DLC's to dabble with it had. People give this franchise a bad reputation at times and it's entirely outrageous. I love this game with every fiber of my being and I hope others do too. Please try this game out for yourself.
