Very undemocratic to sell the game to people not require us to link our PSN account but than decide to change that choice alienating the people who can't make a PSN account in their region.

This game just it's campaign is something of a treat

I cannot think of a WW2 shooter that truly shows the brutality of the war from all sides like this game does and it does not pull punches in that regard.

Also that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ soundtrack MY GOD.

What GTA should've remained and continued to be.

A great game with an even greater story about revenge, greed and how the mistakes of your past will catch up to you.

Oh and bowling.

Itsuno and his team never miss.

Like every major Devil May Cry release (disregarding 2 and the reboot) it tends to become the benchmark that all other character action games should learn from not even Bayonetta 3 could live up to this game's standards and what it set.

It'll take a Devil May Cry 6 in my honest opinion to out do Devil May Cry 5.

Do I need to really say anything?

Devil May Cry and Devil May Cry 3 are easily some of the most iconic character action games to ever exist one being the literal godfather of the genre and the other pushing the genre no where it had gone before in terms of gameplay and being the benchmark of how to not only make an absolutely balls to the wall character action game, but creating one of the best and recognizable rivalries in video game history.

I have a strange fondness for this game, I felt it was given a unfair shake due to the fact it was effectively titled not only a Devil May Cry game but a reboot at that.

This game cameout in an era where Capcom was under the belief that they were VASTLY behind game development compared to the Western Market and thus began to shift their games to appeal to western audiences even selling out their IPS to western developers.

Ninja Theory was tasked with the creation of a new DMC game a task that was... Difficult, Capcom didn't want 'Devil May Cry' as it was they wanted it changed and new, 'Western' in their eyes more so than the series already was and Ninja Theory was forced in this direction more and more.

Eventually they had a concept down and one I hate to admit wish they stuck their guns with it was clear they wanted to tell the story of a tormented young man suffering in a society ruled over by Demonic forces likely with a more 'mature' theme to it the result of course was that infamous reveal trailer.

A trailer looking back on it stripping away what this game was called, is frankly cool as ♥♥♥♥ and looks interesting (One of this games easily best parts is it's aesthetic style and I'm a sucker for punk and grunge.)

However the reaction to the reveal made Ninja Theory readjust their vision toning it down significantly and resulting in a game that tries hard to be something as 'wacky' as the original DMC games but failing and also serious but failing in that front as well.

Yes this games story is awful there's no way around that and it does very little to try and capture the essence of the originals it wanted to be it's 'Own Thing' but was stuck in the shadow of Devil May Cry (3 and 4 especially.) Underneath the bad story though is frankly an action game (especially in the year it came out.) that is just fun

Where as games like MGR while great were still struggling with the idea of weapon switching not done in a menu, DmC was still at it's core a Devil May Cry game and I know it's controversial to say? But god ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ damn is it just nice to slaughter hordes of demons to this game's soundtrack.

I HOWEVER CANNOT recommend the PC version of this game, my recommendation comes rather as if you own a console to buy the Definitive Edition it is a massive upgrade and improvement and included a ton of additional content and changes that were done thanks to feedback and talk with people who put hundreds of hours into the game.

I still will stand by this game not being a bad game from any stretch of the imagination, it's just a shame this game had to be stuck with being a 'Reboot' instead of it's own thing.

You'd UNIRONICALLY have a better time just finding a free version of UNO on a web browser page to play with friends over this

A game with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ menus that take forever to load in and shoddy servers making what fun you could have with the game, vanish pretty fast into frustration.

Wildlands when it came out was a MASSIVE shift in direction for Ghost Recon, it's a Ubisoft game through and through but one with a clear passion and love put into it, one 100% flawed nowadays due to the Loot Boxes which hide away some interesting weapons.

Also "♥♥♥♥ Balls." need I say more?

If you like tactical shooters where the difficulty is entirely up to your preference I highly suggest it unlike Breakpoint, Wildlands has a lot of charm and detail that Breakpoint lacks (albeit Breakpoint has better gameplay by far.)
